Great service and room cleaning / maintenance. Fabulous views from our corner room. Despite this being a very large hotel it was managed very efficiently from the greeting at the ground level by and feeling comfortable with the security to the room cleaning and service. Did not eat in the restaurant / bar but did have a drink each evening. It was nice to get back to this hotel after going to Miami Beach and all the touristy areas.

Highly Recommended 5 Stars Pre-cruise hotel stay Aug 2025 Phenomenal hotel in all respects. Wonderful views, staff and location. 2 min walk to the Metrorail Station, HUGE Public grocery across the street. Room was large, clean and tons of natural light with floor to ceiling windows. Comfortable beds and lines, large bright bathroom. HIGHLY recommended

Everything You Need Stayed here for a 1 night stay prior to a cruise. Check in was fast and easy. The hotel is in a great location for pre cruise stays as it took us about 10 minutes to get to the Port of Miami. It appeared a good chunk of the guests were also cruising. They also have Publix across the street for any items you may need. The hotel pool area has plenty of selfie worthy spots and good views. The rooms were clean but the bathrooms were a bit worn. The beds were comfortable and the usual Hilton bath products in the dispensers were in the bathroom. You need to take 2 elevators to get to and from your room. One to the lobby and the other to the room. The elevators sometimes took a while. On check out day, everyone with a cruise was trying to leave at the same time and we had to wait about 15 minutes to get an elevator from our room to the lobby and almost lost our ride.

What a view ! Overnight stay with family of 6. The hotel was very busy when we visited although did not feel overly crowded. Arrived after a 4 hr drive and used the valet parking which was excellent. $45 The staff work very hard here. Check in was busy but swift. We had a junior suite room and it was excellent and we were delighted with it. Slept 2 adults and 4 children easily. Amazing views towards south beach and the cruise ships and Downtown. Happily sit there and take in the views for hours. The swimming pool and staff at the pool were fantastic. Only thing to be mindful of is the location although there are plenty of people walking about. We eat in the Daily 2 blocks away which was fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a short or long stay in Miami.

Double-check this hotel’s location and be sure it serves your downtown plans… Although advertised as within Miami Downtown –and certainly not at a bad location at all, this property is on the opposite side of where Downtown Miami action takes place. It’s true you can walk to all major attractions and hotspots like Kaseya Center, Perez Arts Museum, Bayside Market, Bayfront Park, and Brickell Center, but it might be a lengthy, tiresome, sweaty walk. So, my advice would be to double-check Hilton Miami Downtown’s location comfortably matches your Downtown plans and do not underestimate the walking distances. Moving on to the property, don’t let the building fool you, it bears its years. You might not be able to tell at first glance, but you’ll notice it. The lobby is 21st century but that’s probably as much as you’ll get. The restaurant, bar, and café scenes are way outdated, deserving so much more in terms of décor, ambiance, and sight. The restaurant feels claustrophobic and unappealing; the bar makes no use of the view, the pool, or the property’s location in the slightest; and the café deserves a full Starbucks (or better) rather than just an automatic coffee machine cornered within the bar. The pool, well, far from whatever Miamian cliché comes to your mind, and again, making no good use of the property’s location and its potential view; the pool could well belong to whatever business class hotel in whatever city. When it comes to the rooms, they also feel outdated in terms of décor and amenities; straight out of the 90’s. Overall, rooms are clean, comfortable, and I must stress this, pleasantly quiet. And, although the view is not perfect, it is certainly appealing, especially those rooms facing the port of Miami, where you get to have a nice vantage port of arriving/departing cruises while also having a glimpse of Downtown Miami. Remember that the higher the floor, the better the view. Finally, service. Special appreciation goes out to the valet guys who got to know us well during our stay, becoming quite friendly, assistive, and intuitively proactive. Regarding front desk staff, they were polite and agile during front desk procedures, but it was hard for them go beyond their duties even if for the tiniest detail, like when being asked about directions or parcels delivered there for me.
