Leamington Hotel-Downtown/Port Of Miami

Not Your Average Five Star Nestled away among the big ones lies Leamington Hotel, a nondescript building with a plain facade. Once inside it doesn't change either. No inherent eye candy anywhere to be found, so if that's what you're looking for, this is not it. This marvelous gem is meant for you to sleep, not have drinks nor Salsa dance the night away. After a night strolling around Miami and eating at CVI.CHE (which is secretly connected to the Leamington by way of an almost 90-degree inclined staircase), a bed is all I wanted, and all that they offer. The A/C unit sticking out the window had this curious hum which reminds of a fax coming through to the office. For what I needed (a place to rest my head) the Leamington Hotel is a 5-star gem.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel is a total scam. Cockroaches, bad service. I booked and then found this out, in the meantime they refused to refund my money for the stay. Total scam. Terribly service. Bad reputation. SCAM!

WAS NOT HAPPY This place must have been photo shopped, the pictures on the booking agent site make this totally deceiving. I was very unhappy on arrival, it was too late to change as i was on a tight budget. The reception area looked like a boiler room, which is supposed to be in basement, as it was too late to cancel i went a head an got my room. It was very run down and dark. There was no phone inside the room, the door was stiff to open needed repairs badly, the so call wardrobe well haven't got a description for that as it was a poor image for hanging clothes and don't get me started on the bathroom, there was empty shower bottles in the wash basin, round the toilet area was dirty, it looked they changed the toilet seat and couldn't be bothered to take the rubbish away just left it there. How can booking agents attached this place to their websites is beyond me, and to make it worst two (2) police officers gave me the heads on the area before I had even went through customs what does that tell you. COCKROACHES = NO REFUND Please for the love of GOD, DO NOT stay here!!! We had a 3 inch cockroach crawling on the inside of toilet found immediately after one of us got up from the toilet. Who is going to sleep or use the toilet again after that??????? Requested a refund and they said NO!!!!!! Our room was $248 and no refund! Do not stay here. There was also no light in the bathroom!! They expected us to use the toilet with a cockroach and no light.

is a good hotel Is near of the almost all you need like loop transportation, and By Side Marketplace...for the price that it have is good, the room was clean and for me, because i went alone, was perfect. The people of the hotel very nice and helpful.
