Terrible and gang neighborhood I have to write a short story about my experience with this terrible place. Avoid it!! When I arrived in this place late night Sep. 14, upon my arrival, the employees were talking together, and they did not acknowledged me. Travelocity had mentioned to me that they would have Airport shuttle and the employees will greet guests. Before my departure I found out that the shuttle had been cancelled because of COVID19. Anyway, one employee acknowledged me and checked my booking and finally I could check in. They gave me a room that was too small but with terrible cigarette smell. Anyway, after 2 hours when I was trying to sleep I saw that the room was attacked by flying insects.Maybe hundreds of insects. Every minute, more and more insects. Staying in that rooms was not possible anymore. I referred to the reception and told them about the issue. They changed my room in 20 minutes. They gave me another too small room but at least that one was not smelling. The rooms have only beds. No slippers, no refrigerator, no nothing. The window of that rooms was opened to a closed space that was dark 24 hours. About the neighborhood I have to say that it was a gang one full of dangerous and suspecious people. Even some guests of that so called hotel were not pleasant. At the last night of my stay, before midnight the police raided the hotel and knocked every single room and asked guests to check out and leave the hotel. There was something wrong in the hotel. As far as I could get, something wrong had happened in the hotel. When doing check out, I noticed that employees were not doing their job fast and and a long line of people had formed in from of the reception. The other issue was that not all employees implementing health protocols like social distancing and masks. Some employees were not wearing masks at all although there were signs around that everybody has to wear masks, but employees themselves did not have masks. Terrible and rally terrible hotel and neighborhood. Avoid it!!

My stay during Covid-19 I read all the reviews and they are not very kind. I am returning from a huge world travel and my stay was always in backpackers or in guest house. The world is in confinement right now and the option of a private room is the best option you can have for the present time. The room might be a little old but they clean all the time the public areas. They provide towels, sheets at your convenience. For me, I definitely want to thank the staff to provide me a shelter.

No refund for unused room I was delayed by a snow storm and missed my connecting flight into Miami for the night I had booked. The hotel refused to refund any part of my booking even though the room was not used. I cancelled the room by phone and explained the circumstances as soon as I knew the connection was missed. Don't count on any support from this Hotel. Or at the least only book with a cancellation option.

Passable Luckily i just stayed a night with them. It wasn't the best experience i had. The checkin was fairly nicer. A young guy behind the desk was helpful and kind. Room was quite good and the bed was very comfortable for a good night's sleep after a long flight. The next day however thins were not that pleasant. There was an old man manning the reception and he was quite grumpy. I asked him if i could leave the bags in their store room for an hour or so while i could go and have lunch to which he was not happy and said that they did not have place to store three pieces of bags and I will have to wait while he would check. He called me from the reception while I was waiting at the lobby and this was the way how he addressed "My friend - carry your bags, I can store them". The guy who showed up to the hotel to transfer me to the airport was not hospitable enough, he just stood by and pointed at me on where to load my bag with no intention of lending a helping hand. There are other hotels in the vicinity and i would strongly recommend considering one of those.

Just okay. Nothing special but I appreciated the shuttle service to the port and also from the airport to the hotel. No elevator, so if you have mobility issues, be sure to get a room on the first floor. The room was average with a very small bathroom.
