Extended Stay America Suites Cleveland Middleburg Heights

Meets my daily needs I recently relocated to the city for a new career, however have still not obtained permanent housing. This Extended Stay has met my daily needs and has been very accommodating for my situation. All of the staff is great, very friendly and have been understanding and encouraging, as this is a brand new journey for me. Everything I need is in and near the area, which has been very helpful in handling business. There are a ton of restaurants, eateries, and fast food spots, places to shop, and stores to take care of your personal needs and groceries. My son and I are foodies so we definitely have tried out a couple of places. The room has a kitchenette, plenty of cabinet space, a dishwasher, and microwave, which have all helped me stay on a routine, so I have been able to cook for my son to have dinner and I can have lunch for work. Everything is clean, and all the appliances, etc... work in the room just fine. It's quiet and been comfortable enough for us to rest. I would recommend to anyone that needs a stay whether it's overnight, just a couple of days, or extended, literally, this is a good place for a decent price per night, with the basic amenities you would need.

It's basic accommodations but clean and comfortable with a great location. We were headed to Baldwin Wallace University to spend family weekend/homecoming with our grandson. Didn't want to spend a fortune for 1 night. The block of rooms reserved by the university was $250 plus tax. The Extended Stay America was $94 plus tax. It's definitely not a luxury resort, but it met our needs. It was clean, everything worked well, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was continental (instant oatmeal, granola bars, packaged muffins, coffee, tea and hot chocolate). All the rooms have kitchenettes, and even though we didn't use it, I did look in the dishwasher, refrigerator and cabinets. All were spotlessly clean. The location to the university is great (1 mile away). It's very close to several restaurants. It's easy on and off I-71. We would definitely stay there again.

It was OK The room was clean but still felt dingy. The sheets on the bed were slightly discolored which was fine but wish there was a better blanket. There is plenty of room, especially if you plan on multiple days. Has a full kitchen. Didn’t have a hair dryer. AC worked great. The room itself was fine but the continental breakfast was laughable. Tiny muffins and oatmeal were the options and the coffee was horrible.

We had to stay here due to tornadoes in the area that knocked out power to the greater cleveland area last week. This was the most disgusting hotel I've ever been in. The exterior was lined with garbage then you walk in and they had a towel under the leaking AC, old and dusty furniture in the lobby, the hallways had dirt and litter everywhere and the rooms were so nasty, I refused to touch anything until I cleaned with bleach. I even purchased my own bedding. The bathroom looked like a truck stop bathroom and the elevator was falling apart and had this metal clanking noise that sounded like machinery was going to come through the floor. It's listed as a non smoking facility but all you smell in the halls is cigarettes. This place should be condemned. I can't imagine how they pass any sort of health inspections to stay in business. We stayed for a total of 3 hours and they still charged us $228.56 when the nightly rate was under $150

Cleaning Shouldn't Be Optional Filthy room. Towels and linen not washed or washed without a hint of bleach. Food left stuck on everything from the counters and tables to the inside of microwave and refrigerator. Phone doesn't work and TV dim. Bathroom was half cleaned and only 1/4 roll of tissue on roll. Poop smear on wall in dining area and stuck on white stuff all over closet curtain. The sheets didn't have any spots, but were so dingy I didn't use. Had to use my own. Had to ask someone the next morning to re-clean and she did what I asked, but nothing more to the obvious things. Hallway, elevator, and first floor reeked of smoke and food. I dread going downstairs and definitely didn't eat any breakfast. If the rooms were that dirty and the smell was that prevalent, there was no way that I trusted them to provide clean food prep. Didn't expect much, except for it to be clean. Very disappointed.
