Relax and Unwind If you are looking to unwind, relax and visit some local wineries then this is the place to visit. Room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, and grounds are beautiful. The resort spa facilities and amenities were great, and the food was tasty. Can't wait to go back.

Not Consistent High Level Very up and down and inconsistent. The room was so beautiful with lovely amenities, however they are hindered by some serious service problems. You can pay $1500 for a room and $42 for a regular glass of Chardonnay and yet wait for your drink at the bar for longer than 30 min. Our party had a waiter say that “we can’t make a dark and stormy”, yet serve up a drink very similar. We ordered a martini during dinner that never came. We ordered an appetizer that never came, but they brought our dinner. I spoke to two managers, Brandon and Logan, but the martini never appeared even after bringing the dessert menu. It’s disappointing because it’s a place that we had hope we could return to since our daughter lives so close, but I would hesitate to pay this for a place that is inconsistent—I happily would pay for this at a place that justifies these costs if it was worth it. But Middleburg is not big (800 population), so if we stay here, we likely would eat here. With two rooms at around $3000 total per night, I can’t quite feel positive about staying here if the service is so riskily mediocre. For a staycation with great service, we would likely go to somewhere that would be more reliable and find a “greater DC” place that would be worth spending the money for a weekend away.

Great spot to relax Great visit with so much to do on site. Clean, and luxurious facility that blends in with its surroundings. Hard to tell what is landscaping and what is natural… the area and building is beautiful. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Highly recommend a visit to relax.

Atrocious Atrocious service, literally they forgot my meal entirely. Spa is horrible service, rooms are overpriced. Customer service is a foreign concept to them. I don’t have enough negative things to say about this establishment. Other people’s food was cold, and the hotel is poorly designed.
