Decent hotel Solid hotel in Newport. I stayed here during the off-season so the rates were very reasonable (under $100 per night.) Room: Each room had a microwave and fridge. The room was clean but a little worn down. Pool: This hotel has an indoor heated pool that is open year-round. Fitness Center: This was rather nice but no free weights or weight machines. It was treadmills, precor, and bike machines. Hotel itself: The hotel is not in Newport so you will have to drive/uber to downtown/Thames Street and houses like The Breakers. The Breakers were a 8 minute drive. Overall, a decent hotel but nothing grand or spectacular.

poor One side of the building overlooks several dumpsters. The hallway rug belongs in the dumpster. The pool area back door is left open at the parking lot, serious security issue. The entrance to the pool area inside is accessible by room card. The custodian hangs around watching the maids work.

Great location but not worth the price The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. You are so close to the beach and some local restaurants. We were fortunate to get upgraded to a suite to be close to our son who was staying in the back building in a suite. I was very appreciative of that. The rooms are very nice and our suite was huge. A large living area with small kitchenette and a nice size bedroom with one king size bed. It is perfect for a couple. My only issue was the cost. We really paid a lot of money for it being off season. I definitely do not think that is was worth what we paid, even with being upgraded to a suite. The room was very clean and the bathroom seemed to have been upgraded with a large soaking type tub. The shower curtain bar was quite rusty but it was a nice bathroom. The towels and sheets were all super clean and the bed very comfy. I just wonder if the amount I paid was for off season, I can't imagine the cost of this hotel during the busy months and I would say it is definitely not worth it but I guess you have to pay for location. We did not utilize the fitness area or pool but it looked nice.

Take it or leave Given a room in main building right next to elevator. No way …… loudest room ever and when we asked to be moved (and they acknowledged how loud it was) we were told there were no more rooms so take it or leave . Literally…. Take it go. So we left. I would rather go home on my 29th wedding wedding anniversary weekend, cancel dinner than stay there. Thanks for the hospitality and be warned
