Cute inn in newport We booked for one night for our Rhode Island stop during our New England. Overall we enjoyed our stay with a few exceptions. One, we were the first room right off the lobby so it was a little nosier than I assume other rooms would be. It wasn’t much of an issue but we could just hear more voices/foot traffic however it’s also an inn so it’s not going to be soundproof. Additionally outlets were in inconvenient places (like behind my bed on the wall). Breakfast was included and they had an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, yogurts and granola bars. There was also a coffee and tea bar. Great location to “downtown” Newport. We paid $150 for a double bed room through trip advisor. I saw others say they paid $500 and I’m not sure if I’d pay that much but if it was the cheapest option in Newport then it’s a good choice. Would definitely come back for a similar price!

Front desk professsionalism Keith at the front desk was a great introduction to this hotel and very helpful. We arrived after a long day of travelling and he ensured we had an easy transfer to our room. He did a great job showing us around and helping us decide where to visit and where to eat.

The best discovery of our roadtrip We arrived in this hotel as a part of our New England road trip and I can only find one word to describe our experience: gorgeous. The rooms were really cozy and clean, but what made this hotel so remarkable was Keith. He is great man and when we arrived for the check in he made us feel as if we were at home. We asked him for a seafood spot to have dinner and he recommended us a waterfront restaurant with excellent quality. If you are planning on staying in Newport go here and hope you find Keith at the desk.

Nice stay for a girls trip This is a quaint and charming building. The 2 king room was large and perfect for our group of 3 ladies. It was nice to have the extra space of the sitting area. Furnishings are fine but not fancy, beds comfy. The bathroom could use a renovation, saw a hole in the wall above the shower. The exhaust fan in the bath, which is connected to the lightswitch, sounded like a jet engine! Probably should be replaced, and a separate switch provided so you can use the bathroom at night without waking everyone. Lots of space at the sink and plenty of mirrors for getting ready. We enjoyed the breakfast - nothing fancy but lots of options and loved the wooden trays to carry up to your room, nice touch! We all loved the Jamaica Me Crazy coffee, and wouldn’t have even tried it but our host, Keith, introduced us to it upon arrival. He was a wealth of information and very hospitable! Awesome welcome from him, great restaurant recommendations, too. Big standouts here were the huge room and free parking. Quick drive to most sights.

Updated Victorian Hotel Had a wonderful stay in this unique hotel. The room was a little small but clean & comfortable. The TV had a great channel selection but a little small since it was in a cabinet. Breakfast was continental with sandwiches ready for the microwave. Coffee was very good. Some caulking needed in the bathroom.
