30th Year Anniversary Our experience at this establishment could have been more enjoyable. Our room smelt like smoke. I voiced my concerns to the front desk manager, who seemed not to care. We were told the front desk would work on moving our room. The manager collected my cell phone number and said she would call us for any changes. We have not received this call, so I called the front desk several times. However, they refused to answer. My wife and I were trying to have a relaxing 30th anniversary. However, the Homestead front desk employees seemed to care about something other than how they had given us a room different from the one reserved. The hotel was sold out this week, but we were there a day earlier than the large groups, so we were told management would try to find us another room. If the room had been given didn't smell like smoke and still had burnt cigarettes on the deck, we would have just stayed in the room assigned to us. This was supposed to be a celebration of 30 years of marriage. However, the first two days were pretty stressful. It's hard to recommend a company like this when the front desk personnel refuses to call you back and does not answer your calls.

Site under extensive construction. The TV did not work. No sympathy from staff. Ask about the construction before you book a stay. The pool has been moved about 500 feet from the units. Long walk from the rooms to the pool area.

Wheelchair accessibility This property is beautiful however the wheelchair accessibility to the crater which is its main draw was impassable. They were under heavy construction the week I was there but the roads around the facility were broken up which made it very difficult to navigate in my wheelchair.

Amazing place! The rooms are beautiful! Pool area is amazing!! Can not wait to stay again. Made our Anniversary very special!

We love Mel! Mel at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She made sure our visit was perfect and was so friendly. We loved our interactions with her and would definitely recommend Homestead based on her pleasant attitude and friendliness at the front desk!!!
