The customer service was beyond poor. The agent at the desk was rude, unhelpful and disinterested Rating: 1/5 I stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Milford, CT, and really enjoyed my stay when I was there. I had great conversation with the ground crew whenever we interacted and the rooms weren’t bad for the price. what came after my stay was a complete disaster. I left my MacBook on the bed, and when I called to report it, the customer service agent, who said his name was “ Mark with an Indian accent” was utterly unhelpful, rude, and the lack of respect he showed for a guest property was unbelievable. He claimed it wasn't found and told me to come back tomorrow! Even after I explained that I need my laptop to do my Job at nights, I begged him to call someone, anyone and he insisted I come back tomorrow. Only after I involved the police did Mark miraculously "find" my MacBook and return it to me. and said “ next time don’t play any James” in an Indian accent, as if I was game playing. The lack of respect and commitment to customer service was astounding! I actually had to file a police report! The lack of concern for a guest's property and the unprofessional behavior of this staff behavior Mark with an Indian accent if that is his real name was appalling. Because of one person this hotel gets a bad reputation and that should not be the case but this one employee needs retraining or a different career path. Avoid this Hotel at all costs! The incompetence and disregard for customers' belongings are staggering. Zero stars if possible!

Worst receptionist EVER Worst front desk clerk ever. He is nearly impossible to understand. Rude. Nasty. Impossible to understand We were unable to stay TripAdvisor as bad as Red Roof is. One pet only per room, first he said 50. Guarantee then when tried to give him that he said for us $110. Never will I stop there again. We are out $82 for NOTHING

Horror Show What I liked- Location, the vending machine had diet coke. What I did not like- I have felt itchy since arriving, run down, questionable clientele, lots of on grounds smoking, beds are the absolute worst, I feel and hear the bed springs every time I move, dismissive front desk staff. I never write hotel reviews, but this was so bad I wanted to save someone else. Do yourself a favor and google crime at Red Roof Inn Milford.

Absolutely horrible. Quite frankly one of the worst if not most disgusting Red Roof Inn. Front Desk service is atrocious only because I can’t find a worse word to describe the utter garbage that acts as front desk associates. I understand that a key card might not work, I understand there’s issues. You just have to say “I apologize for the inconvenience”. Simple. Instead I get a death glare that my key card didn’t work, as if I’m inconveniencing them. Awful, awful, awful. Trashiest place I’ve ever stayed.

I do NOT recommend Mold everywhere and we found a roach. Manager was horrifically rude and I could tell her staff was afraid of her. She should focus on mold and bugs rather than bully staff and customers. Don’t book if you can avoid it.
