Disgustingly Unsanitary, Loud, Dated and Overpriced Pros: great location and walking distance to downtown attractions. Staff was friendly. Cons: - loud- red flag ( fishbowls of ear plugs made available at reception desk). Even with a room on the 4th floor, the sounds of the streets, adjacent clubs and rooms were heard. - room was dirty, had grease and dirt marks on doors and surfaces. Dust and dirt in corners of window frames and door jams. -shower head somehow managed to spray water everywhere except on you. - room next door decided to hot box and the smell of weed was present throughout the floor. Mgmt addressed it very late in the night -style was of early 2000s and needs a significant facelift. - was not worth the outrageous charge of $400/night ( there was a triathlon and state fair the weekend we arrived)

Nice location, especially if attending a Bucks game Staying here in August 2021 for a wedding, which is taking place at GATHER (which is a nice downtown location for a weding). This is a unique hotel for Marriott. Modern lobby, modern rooms. There is no dressing for your clothing, but 'cubbies' on the bathroom side of your room. There are plenty of places to hang clothing. It is a safe location for sure, and within walking distance to many restaurants, the river walk is virtually at the back door, etc. Of note, I would take rent a bubly bike (MC Bike) and bike to local city attractions.

Great Location for Milwaukee Stay My wife and I stayed one night here during a recent visit to Milwaukee. This Aloft has decor typical of the Aloft chain - clean, simple, contemporary. What distinguishes this Aloft is not just the staff (very friendly and helpful) but the hotel’s location right on the Milwaukee Riverwalk, close to Fiserv Forum and multiple restaurants. Our room overlooked the Riverwalk, so we were treated to a steady stream of tiki-bar and other boats and even paddle boarders. The hotel also features an indoor pool, available by reservation.

Overnight trip Wife and I made a quick one night trip to MKE. Stayed at the Aloft and it was nice, clean and the staff was friendly. Like previous Aloft locations we've stayed the room was sparse, but in a nice way. There are a bunch of restaurants and bars nearby. We parked our car a block away on Water St through Spot Hero for $5.75 instead of $30+ at the hotel.

Noise level...kept us from sleeping. The staff at this property was great!! The Hotel was clean, and located in a great area. However, the street noise kept us awake...if you are a light sleeper DO NOT stay here. They do provide ear plugs, but they didn't help my husband and I sleep. It sounds like your bed is in the middle of the street.
