Historical hotel but not so nice neighborhood The neighborhood wasn’t nice or secure or room wasn’t the cleanest but the property was well maintained. Our cars weren’t safe as someone’s was stolen one night. I would not feel safe walking anywhere there despite being close to destinations. There was a shuttle on first come first serve basis which was nice. Staff were great. There was no vending and only the mini bar to get anything out of. No fridge or microwave to use so if you are staying for several nights you have to eat out every single meal and cannot save any food. O really probably wouldn’t stay again since it was quite pricey!!

Comfortably out of the way Hubby and I stayed here for one night as part of a celebration. While the staff was very friendly they weren't particularly helpful. The hotel provides you the ability to check in online prior to arrival, which was easy and worked well. Then when you arrive, you just need to pick up your keys at the front desk, which we did. The friendly front desk staff handed us two key cards and a brochure. Cool, key cards worked and we were in our suite. Later hubby tried to connect to the internet but needed a password. Hmmm, didn't see one in the room. Called down and found out that it was on the brochure that they handed us with the keys. Would have been nice if they had pointed that out. The room itself was large and very comfortable. Our only issue was with the bathtub drain. Hubby put in the bathtub stopper and then couldn't get it out. We ended up having to pry it out with an identification card of ours. It was the only thing we had that was thin enough to get underneath. They call this the "art deco" hotel but besides the elevator doors, it's not particularly art deco. Besides being convenient to visit the Pabst mansion, the location isn't great. For $20 per night, they provide parking in a garage.

DO NOT COME HERE Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty rooms, drug addicts everywhere including inside the hotel. There were people outside the hotel asking for money. Car was stolen and managers/staff were apathetic towards the situation. I believe the staff may have been involved in stealing the car as they would not let me view the footage and were incredibly difficult to work with. Sketchy place.

Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee We had a wonderful stay at the Ambassador Hotel in Milwaukee - the place is beautiful and the staff were not only professional but were very kind and accommodating! Excellent check in and front desk experience from Letasha. Josie, Keaton, Kaycee and Kiah provided wonderful service and fun conversations in each of the eating establishments - The Fitz, The Gin Rickey and Deco. And great shuttle service from Artist, Jeff and Taurus! Kudos to the entire staff of the Ambassador Hotel!
