Great value Excellent room and value but we could not get TV to work- access by scanning codes seems unnecessary

Lipstick on a super eight This hotel was really only lipstick on a super eight. The carpet throughout was filthy. The walls are scuffed and dirty. The AC unit in the room is 1 foot from the bed and is noisy all night. The GFI breaker next to the sink was blown and would not reset. The elevator was slow and dirty. I’m not sure how brand name Hyatt is on this hotel. I thought that brand was better and for $250 per night expected much better from Hyatt. Next time I’m in that area I will stay elsewhere.

Unfortunate Choice How this hotel got the 2024 Hotel Award is beyond me! I'm scratching my head at the favorable reviews. I don't usually like to leave negative reviews, but something has to be said. Like everything in life, there is the good along with the bad. This hotel is not all bad. The mattress was amazingly comfortable, and the room was spacious and fairly clean. However, things have not been kept up. Peeling wallpaper in the halls as well as gouges in the walls, peeling paint, extremely dirty hall carpets with stains and food crumbs. In my opinion, the management failed to anticipate and have a workable plan for breakfast. A bus tour group all came down to breakfast at the same time. We went down to have breakfast, and there was not a seat or table available as well as ALL the main dish (eggs, potatoes, sausage) containers were empty and waited many minutes until refilled. We finally got some food and just stood in a corner to eat. I know things like this happen...that is a given, but knowing this group was there, I feel like there could have been steps taken to ease the situation (maybe extra staff helping for that 1/2 hour, maybe special time for the group to go to breakfast earlier or the regular guest hours a smidge later than usual until the group departed). Too bad. We had never stayed at a Sheraton before and now probably won't again.

Family get away My family of 4 took a short stay in Mishawaka for some shopping. We traveled about an hour to get there and the stay was well worth the price. The only bad thing to say was the cleanliness of the indoor pool, it did not meet our standard for use.

Excellent Beautiful hotel. Very clean and the rooms are outstanding. The pool was clean and not overcrowded. Breakfast was excellent as well
