No More Ayers for us. We have stayed at this hotel many times and had mixed experiences. This time, both my sister and I had ants in our rooms. Ours had enough that they were crawling on us and our things. Maintenance came after 10 pm and sprayed all over and the air was filled with the chemicals. I had to request a new room, got one with less beds. Had to make up the sofa bed again. We were all exhausted. It would have been kind if they offered to help us move all of our things and make up the bed. Mentioned to the person at checkout, said management would reach out and never heard anything. There was a loud party in the courtyard which stopped in time for quiet hours at 10 but it was not ideal after a long day of travel and being on east coast hours. Also, during our check in, it was strongly implied that a guest hadn’t paid for a drink from the cooler and the check in person was pretty rude about it. The guest kept his cool and was not apologized to for the mistake. I think this was the final straw for us and the Ayres Hotel.

Jessica and breakfast terrible experience Made a call prior to check in and spoke with Daniel at the front desk about an early check in and was told we can have an early check in no problem. Upon arrival we met with Jessica who asked “were you told you can have an early check in?” I said “yes of course” and she explained “were you aware of the $30 early check in fee?” I said “no” and she said “it’s $30 to check in early” I explained this was never brought up on the call and that’s not my fault I was misrepresented in order to come down early for expectations can be met. ________________________ I sincerely asked her to right the wrong and she failed to compromised in a very rude and hostile manner. I later explained that this is something I will be forced to report for a lack of hospitality and Jessica responded “I don’t care”. I then explained “you don’t care how you treat your guests and or if I complain about your lack of care therefore?” She then called Daniel and confirmed I was assured an early check in without fee mentioned. Her attitude was by far the rudest I’ve experienced in my travels. ______________________ This was a Fathers Day getaway from my wife for one day, I get one day and this is how Ayres wants to represent itself? I was given my keys and didn’t even get a tour to where my room was yet the next couple got a full tour. This is extremely unacceptable and this needs to be rectified. How can you have people with such disdain represent a brand like Ayres? Jessica clearly doesn’t care about her job let alone company image. In my profession of marketing, bad reviews can seriously impact company image and brand and this won’t be the last of my reviews or my wife’s.

Personal Safety Concerns In the weeks after booking my room at this location, I've received multiple email notifications that an employee who works are Ayres Hotel and Spa has viewed my linkedin profile, which I think is very bizarre and gives me pause and concern regarding my personal safety. It is very unprofessional and frankly- creepy. Will not be recommending this hotel.

Warm and Friendly A very nice warm and friendly welcome, and that's how you feel walking into the hotel. Once you meet the staff they make you feel like your at a relatives home, one that you like. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Several nice amenities to chose from, I picked the pool and jacuzzi over the fireplace courtyard. The restaurants are well staffed and have great complimentary breakfast. Someplace I will definitely stay at again.
