Amazing Service and Amazing Hotel This is an amazing hotel, overall. My reason for staying was business and I travel alone- so safety/security are always a personal priority. The minute I arrived- the valet personnel were 100% friendly and welcoming. The front desk…….Incredible- I’ve never felt more welcomed or comfortable- and I travel A LOT…..they were kind enough to let me know I did have packages there (sent from my company) and they were happy to hold them or help me get them to my vehicle. Taz was an absolute treat- she had the best attitude and service I have seen in a very long time. The cafe attached to the hotel has wonderful staff- I would suggest the hummus plate and the pizza. The breakfast at Trellis was awesome- wish they were open for dinner !!!! There is a cute cigar bar attached to the property and a lovely roof-top deck! The rooms were elegant and spacious….I loved the soaking tub and separate shower. I will DEFINITELY visit again !!

Convenient to the convention center Beautiful hotel. Very convenient to the convention center. Staff was friendly and accommodating. There are two sections of the hotel. An older section close to the lobby and a newer section in a tower. I stayed in the newer tower and found the rooms to be spacious and clean.

Paid for a suite (didn’t get a room suite but a hospitality suite) asked about balcony before check in Paid extra for a ‘suite’ and unusable balcony we wanted to photograph on the balcony.however after checking in we were told the balcony was closed. This was a 400 room. It was supposed to be a suite ok it was a hospitality suite.those are rooms used for parties. We couldn’t get a seat in the restaurant for dinner or breakfast even though the manager said it would not be a problem. Over crowded and we had to walk down a long hall outside of the hotel to get to our room. What’s with that/ Marriott get your act together this was a waste of time and money

Beautiful hotel, Covid-ravaged service Battle House suffers from reduced service and too many weddings like most hotels these days. Valet parking/bell service upon arrival was a nightmare. We arrived to a 1/2 block line of cars awaiting help. After 10 minutes of waiting and no forward movement I tried to use one of the empty hotel carts to handle luggage myself, which brought a bellman running to tell me I couldn’t do that. When it was finally my turn for service, a bellman filled and put my luggage cart on the sidewalk, assuring me it would be sent up immediately. He also assured me the car would be locked until it was parked. 40 minutes later I went downstairs to find my luggage cart unattended in an open area and the car unlocked, with key in the console, on the street. I ended up moving the luggage (without the cart) upstairs myself. Check-in was friendly. Thanks to a ‘titanium’ upgrade on the 8th floor (lounge floor but no lounge service), the room was spacious and pleasant. Next morning, when I tried to get a continental breakfast (included in my rate) to carry-out, restaurant said there would be a half-hour wait. There was also a half-hour wait to retrieve my car from parking. Beautiful historic hotel but frustrating service. But perhaps the best one can get in Mobile at the moment.

History and charm Our stay at the Battle House in Mobile was lovely. The hotel is beautiful with large, impressive common areas. History is told throughout the property with signage and photos. The rooms are large and comfortable. The spa and gym are fantastic and the pool is a destination unto itself.
