Our stay was horrifying and will be marked as the worst accommodations we have ever experienced. Our stay at Motel 75 was, by far, our worst hotel experience ever. The room was filthy and had safety/health violations (e.g., sticky/dirty floors, stained mattress, cockroaches/ants/beetles, smoke alarm had been removed from the wall). We attempted to find another hotel, but none were available in the area. When we returned to our room that night, our key card did not work. The front desk clerk told us he intentionally deactivated it because we hadn't paid for the room. He said Booking.com didn't give him the funds, so my credit card must have had insufficient funds. He demanded I give him my credit card and pay for the room. I refused and made it clear it was bad enough I had to pay for that subpar room once, I surely was not going to pay for it twice. I presented my confirmation emails from both Booking.com as well as Motel 75. Apparently, he realized he was not going to be able to swindle me and somehow "fixed" the situation. Please post a warning about this property!

BEWARE!!!!!! BEDBUGS, DRUGGIES, AND BAD MANAGEMENT!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!! BEDBUGS, DRUGGIES, AND BAD MANAGEMENT!!!!!! I booked a room here, for an overnight stay for my Aunt, and Uncle, who were coming in town for a birthday party. They didn't want to spend a bunch of money, and ratings were pretty good, and said that although, it's old and outdated, that the rooms were clean, and I didn't see any recent red flags. I was so misled. So, when we first arrive to check in, the first red flag, should've been the fact that there were several very suspicious people hanging around. You could tell they were probably barely functioning drug addicts, who lived there when they could pay the weekly fee. Other than that, everything is cool for an overnight stay, the room was clean, and didn't stink or anything. That night however, my aunt was awakened by a bed bug crawling up her arm. On top of that, when she jumped up out of the bed, to swipe it off, her foot went under the bed skirt and she'd stepped on a blunt(marijuana cigar). It was early the next day, so by then, they just got up to get the hell out of there. When they went to the front desk, the person working the desk acted oblivious to the proper hotel etiquette in these matters. They were told that a manager would contact them, which didn't happen. So they called back the next day to speak with a manager, and at that time was able to speak with him. Instead of being apologized to and possible refunded, they were told that probably brought the bed bugs with them, and that it was their blunt that was on the floor. this guy also said that he saw my uncle walking around in the parking lot at 1am smoking the week. My uncle is 78 years old, and wears oxygen consistently for COPD, so he definitely doesn't smoke, or is ever around anyone who smokes. Avoid this hotel at all costs, because not only is it infested with bed bugs, it doesn't seem very safe, and the manager is a complete, and total jerk.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ROACH & BEDBUG INFESTED PLACE!!! We checked into this "roach motel" on Wednesday, July 28th. We figured we would have a decent, clean place to lay our heads for the night. To our surprise, when we walked into our room we noticed it was hot so we turned the A/C on only to realize that it didn't work. We also quickly noticed that the TV was broken and there were roaches all over the bathroom area. So we went downstairs to ask for our money back. We were assured by an African man with a strong accent that the issues with this room, (208), were a one off and that if we allowed him to move us to another room the issues would be resolved. We agreed to be moved to the other side of the building, (room 219). This room seemed cleaner, and unlike the other room there were no visible roaches, there was carpet, and both the TV and A/C worked. However, we did notice that one of the pillowcases had not been changed as it had makeup on one side of it. Rather than complain again, we got out our satin pillowcases and put them on the pillow. Soon after we took a nap. Upon waking up, my boyfriend was looking for his wallet so he could grab snacks at the gas station next door. However, turning on the bedroom lights we saw a giant bedbug in the bed. My boyfriend caught it with tissue and we took photos and recorded it moving before flushing it. We went down to the front desk, showed the photos and video clip to the clerk and asked for a refund. The same African man with his distinct accent was at the desk at this time and he claimed that he couldn't process a refund and that the manager would be back over the weekend and I should call then. Before leaving the counter we asked what the man's name was and he claimed his name was David. On Saturday, July 31st I called the motel and asked to speak with the manager. The person that answered the phone was a man with an accent that sounded identical to "David", so I asked him his name and to my surprise he said Babs. I explained the situation to him and after verifying my information he said that a refund would be issued and I should see this reflected within a few business days. After realizing I hadn't received my refund, I called back on Tuesday, August 10th. The person that answered the phone had the same thick accent as "David" and "Babs" and when I asked his name, he said "Babs". I explained that I had spoken with him on the 31st and that at that time he said I would be issued a refund. It was at this time that Babs lied and said he had never spoken with me on the 31st because he was in Florida that day. Furthermore, during my call on August 10th, in addition to lying and saying he'd never spoken with me on the 31st, Babs claimed the actual manager would not be back in until today, Thursday, August 12th. This was an interesting declaration as this same individual had lied and claimed to be the actual manager when I'd spoken with them on the 31st. Nevertheless, I attempted to call and speak with the manager earlier today, Thursday, August 12th. Each time I called from my cell phone number, (the line I'd called from on the 31st and the 10th), I was hung up on. So I tried calling with my cell number blocked and I got the same result. Then I tried calling from my Google Voice number. This time I wasn't initially hung up on and a man with the same foreign accent answered. I instantly asked his name, he stated something barely audible so I asked him to spell it and again what was said was a barely audible Phe... When I asked him to clarify because I still could not understand, I was hung up on again... Although I plan to keep fighting for my refund I highly recommend you STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

This place should be closed down! Do not stay. Something is wrong here. booked for june 6 while we were traveling. property right of of 75, convenient. there were issues at the hotel. the person who arrived at the front desk after i stood there waiting several mins was disheveled (would be a kind description) and immediately began over sharing info about limited hotel staffing, accomplishing cleaning, etc The hotel was virtually unoccupied, after 9 pm. however, there were folks loitering in the dark parking area, unsure why but it felt unsafe. I completed check in and went to the room when we got to the door there was a cigarette put out on the carpet, butt still laying there. the carpet was unswept. when we entered the room, the bed had the sheets folded back nicely, but they had soil on them and dead bugs. the sheet was white, there was no mistaking the bugs. wondering afterwards how this could happen i can only speculate they were drug on the ground to the room or dried with something that was not clean. the sheets were the deal-breaker, it wasn't just a spot, the sheets were almost imbedded with dirt and hair and BONUS the dead dried bug bodies. i returned the key immediately to the desk and informed them the hotel was not up to standard and requested a refund. The reponses i have gotten to that request, both then and since arriving home have led me to believe this is some kinda shady business. The manager Chris is never there, if anyone bothers to answer the phone. I want my refund, i didn't stay but was charged. BUGS, dead or alive are not acceptable in a hotel. on the bed. eeek go to Holiday Inn !
