Poor Housekeeping Housekeeping is terrible. Understaffing has supposedly been an issue for the last couple years according to one of the housekeeping supervisors. The personnel at the front desk are very pleasant and helpful and admit that rooms are not being cleaned in a timely manner even when services are requested. This situation really needs to be addressed by the owner(s).

Housekeeping is understaffed, overworked. Housekeeping is understaffed, overworked. Rooms not cleaned thoroughly. Dog urine in the lobby, not cleaned while I was there 2+ days. Furnishings and linens are tired - surfaces and floors in the room not wiped down. Wasn't expecting new, but won't stay here again as it just wasn't clean. Diamond member. Bring your Clorox wipes! Be careful with virtual check in. They aren't synched right with housekeeping. Hard to find entrance and exit. Monroeville needs help with hotel selections.

Not a Typical Hampton Inn. Stayed here for couple nights while at a conference and this is not what a Hampton typically has to offer. The only Hampton thing about this place is the complimentary breakfast, but the seating space is quite small and its a large hotel so there is no seating available most of the time. Also the coffee is always out. During our stay there was a group that basically camped out in the common area and took up all the tables with their own food trays and had the place all to themselves without any consideration to other guests. The place is tired and has all kinds of stains on walls and carpets. Its also full of pets when we were there. Our room was also missing items when we checked in and there was no one that could help us when we checked in so we had to wait for things until the next day. Pool is poorly lit and quite dingy. I'm a Hampton fan but You definitely don't get what you pay for at this Hampton.

Good location if you are driving, but that's it The front desk staff was very nice and helpful, but the hotel was dirty and in disrepair. The grounds had garbage and cigarette butts all over. The rugs in the common areas were a mess. The rug in the room was sticky and dirty. The floor of the shower stall was broken. The elevator smelled of smoke. Etc ...

Bad experience at Hampton inn. The staff at this hotel is by far the rudest I have experienced. I am a diamond member and have stayed in many. Firstly I was provided a rate when I booked. When I checked in I was told I cannot get this rate since the front desk person determined I was with family and cannot get rate that I got from my company. Secondly my wife was hungry late in the night, there were hardly any snacks in their snack shop and I asked the front desk person for some snacks that they stock for members, I even told I will pay for it. The front desk person told me rather rudely that he is not going to give me any. Never have I been treated so badly and made to feel so low. I went and got some snacks from gas station. Anyway I am about done with Hampton inn and going to reconsider Hilton brand completely. Loyalty and these memberships mean nothing.
