Quality property but be prepared to be fleeced Positives: - high quality rooms that have just been refurbished - good location, 5 min drive from town and 5 minutes from beach / restaurants / lighthouse / park etc Negatives - doesn’t feel like you’re a guest, simply a number to be gouged for money - prices are out of line with rest of town and with most high end resorts (think $25+ for a glass of wine, $7+ for a pastry in the shop, $30+ for any breakfast item, $200+ to play Padel etc) - surcharges added to everything, compulsory valet parking even though it adds time and hassle - ridiculous additions to bill like $30 “health and wellness fee” which seems to be just a random surcharge to make more money Overall it is a nice property which is let down by exploitative prices and leaves you feeling like you’re just there for the hotel bottom line and not as a guest

The Best Spot at the End (of Montauk)! From check-in to check-out, our experience could not have been better. The Montauk Yacht Club, while great last year, has upped their game multiple levels. Reception desk, room service, and restaurant staff could not have been more attentive. Highly recommend an electric boat cruise (amazing captain and beautiful views), and the cottages were just fantastic. PS, if you're in town on Thursday, check out the farmer's market in the square - just delightful. We will be back!

Beautiful property and kind staff Beautiful hotel on a beautiful property. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming! Special shoutout to Kevin who was always so attentive and resourceful. Edwin and Maureen on staff made is easy to park our car and rent bikes. This place is great for groups whether it’s with friends or families.

Our July stay MYC is simply the best place to stay in the montauk. The grounds are so beautiful and well kept! The staff is super sweet & friendly. It was my husband’s birthday weekend and they had a sweet birthday note and his favorite drink (Negroni) in the room waiting for him when we arrived. The bartenders at the pool bar are simply amazing and work really hard. And the food and drinks are so so good. We did the complimentary cruise and it was so lovely, our captain was such a nice guy, I forgot his name (he’s from south Hampton, England). The only complaint we have is about the noise level (and this has nothing to do with the hotel/staff but more to do with inconsiderate and entitled guests) we were in a first floor room and the people in the room above us were extremely loud. The second night of our stay they came in the room at 2am, immediately started throwing things on the floor, yelling at each other, had a massive fight, they were yelling so loudly that we could hear everything they were saying including all the profanities. This went on until sometimes passed 3am but we chose not to complain cause we felt bad that they were having a fight. The 3rd night of our stay they came back to their room at 4am with a group of people and they were partying until 6am. We called the concierge twice and they said they sent someone to knock on their door but that clearly didn’t stop them from being extremely loud. The moral of the story is this is an amazing hotel but I do suggest staying on the second floor as the floors do make a lot of noise, and request to be placed in a more quiet section of the hotel. Ps the manager Tim is great, there was an error with our bill and he took care of it right away.

Incredible stay with an amazing Manager, Kevin. This hotel is a true montauk hidden treasure! The grounds are gorgeous and the hotel is extremely well kept and clean. The staff was very helpful, Especially the manager Kevin. He was extremely attentive during my stay and even helped to find room for me to extend the stay as I was enjoying it so much. It’s rare to find great help these days, Especially in a beach town, but MTK yacht club does it right, Kevin made me feel at ease! From the pool, boat, food and comfortable beds, I will be making this my new MTK go to spot.
