Excellent experience with Casa Munras! My wife and I got married in Monterey in May 2024 and chose Casa Munras for our hotel room block. We were SO pleased with the experience all around! We booked rooms for our guests and the hotel team provided a link that our guests could use to fill that block. We also hosted our Rehearsal Dinner one evening in their Andalucía Room, and it was lovely - delicious food, excellent service, and gracious hospitality. The location is excellent - 5-minute walk to Alvarado Street and Downtown Monterey, and also across the street from several other hotels that offered more budget accommodation (for those guests seeking same). And a heated outdoor pool…?! We definitely enjoyed the included amenities… The staff took extra steps to make sure we were taken care of - when there was a mix-up with the rooms, the team went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Shout-out and special thanks to Christian, Isabelle, Stacy, Stephanie, John, Henna, Jay, EJ, and the whole Casa Munras team for making us and our guests feel so welcome and comfortable during our stay. We look forward to staying at Casa Munras again when we are next in Monterey, and recommend them for both a room block and/or a private event if you are seeking space for same on the Peninsula! Great place to stay in Monterey! We stayed at Casa Munras while traveling to and from Northern California. Both stays were very enjoyable - the hotel is very clean, beds and linens are very comfortable, the hotel is well run, and in a great location. In addition, the hotel has a lot of thoughtful touches, like fireplaces in some rooms, multiple hooks and lots of storage in the bathrooms, outlets in good locations, etc. Really enjoyed our stays!

Best Experience Ever Best experience ever~! The room, the grounds and the staff are amazing. They make you feel extra special. Highly recommend. Great location, easy walking distance to downtown and the ocean. Gtreat happy hour and in and outdoor sitting. (The food is 5-star)

Great hotel, great location. A lovely hotel in a quiet area but a short walk to the main street and fishermans wharf. The reception area and terrace with fireplace are very attractive. The room was lovely and spacious with a very comfortable bed, really good bed linen, a beautiful fireplace and comfortable seating. Would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay

Romantic Room My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Mundas Garden Hotel & Spa. The staff was courteous. More importantly, the room was well appointed and cozy with the fireplace. The bed was very comfortable. The grounds were well maintained. The hotel is conveniently located within a 10 to 15 minute drive to Old Fisherman’s Wharf and the aquarium.
