Brilliant A wonderful place. Set so close to everything. Near Fisherman’s Wharf and Lovers Point. Plus good restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were really helpful. I recommend getting the suite as it’s so comfortable. The parking is handy too.

A motel like establishment rather than hotel . This a motel like establishment. No where near a 4 star. What a disappointment. One of the reviews suggested a power wash was needed because the whole place is disgusting. Covered in seagull poo everywhere. The tiles hadn’t seen a mop in years. A tired and filthy ‘hotel’. The reception room has pee like odour on entry and unfortunately more strange smells follow you where ever you move in the building. I would suggest a bomb but that is rather rude _ Rooms aren’t cleaned on a daily bases and was reflected in the rooms. So glad I took antibacterial wipes as these were needed to wipe down all the counter surfaces due to some questionable stains on some surfaces and dribbles down the sides of the units.the tv didn’t work and the remote was sticky! Beware some rooms have no safes. Breakfast was ok but served in a school cafeteria style hall not a dining room as you would expect in hotel environment. Not a pleasant stay.

Great Hotel in a perfect location Lovely room, quality beds and bedding. Great location for shops and restaurants, the marina and coastal path walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends. Loved Monterey

Great Stay! Husband and I decided last minute to go to Monterey for the weekend. Hotel Pacific had a great rate, so we booked it. We have stayed here before through the years when the kids were small and just the two of us. I really like how the room is set up. There is a nice seating area, table and chairs, fridgerator, microwave and a couple chairs on the balcony. We even used the fireplace. There is a good size bathroom with separate tub and shower. The bed was comfortable and pillows fluffy. I love this place, it's my favorite place to stay in Monterey. The location is perfect. We walked easily to Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row and the Aquarium. You can also pick up the free trolly down the street that runs to those spots during the summer months and weekends during off season. Breakfast was included. I was really impressed. There were breads, pastries, cereal, bacon, sausage, French toast and eggs! It was all very good and a great start to our day. I can't wait to come back.

Absolutely Awesome The entire staff was so very helpful and kind. Smooth check-in, clean spacious rooms, great location, comfortable furnishings. From my creating reservation complications, to the extra smooth check-in process, to a minor parking issue because of street construction trucks, to a quick minor tv fix, to us changing rooms and extending our stay.....everyone went way beyond the extra mile to help us. Can't begin to list all the good things about this hotel. We have stayed here several times as a couple and enjoyed every time. This time we came with 3 other family members and just had to let everyone know that this hotel and the staff that runs it is absolutely awesome.
