Location was perfect The location of the hotel was great, steps away from the main downtown restaurants and shopping centres. However the overall hotel experience was not up-to any expectations you will want. The room had a bad odour, even the corridor carpets. The AC was giving out the odour as well. We were offered a second room upon complaint, had to use a room spray to survive the three nights. The room floor was extremely dirty, dusty and had small particles of dirty. Requested for extra towels and received them one day after. Washroom didn’t have a bin to throw waste. If not for cleanliness it would have been good. If I’m to question was it worth the stay, I’d rather pay a little more and opt out for another. However, Check in and check out was speed and staff were friendly.

Worst experience ever I booked room on call and she booked for wrong date and when will we reach there the lady said you are supposed to be here 2 days ago and I explained she said you have to pay again I cannot do anything come back when manager is here. We travelled from moncton to montreal. The same room I paid 99$ I have to pay 150$. How does it make sense?

Room Too Small The one queen bed room is very small to a point where you feel like staying in a hostel instead of a 3-star hotel. The phone operator did not even mention there is parking available. We were just told street parking is free on the weekend. It turned out there is a parking lot is right behind the hotel. It cost an extra $20 per night.

Great price, nice room and location. This hotel was in a great location for walking. We walked St. Catherine St. (right around the corner) and walked down to the port and Bascilica. The rooms and windows are small, but it was clean and had everything we needed. The price was very affordable.

Back to business This was my first time traveling for work since the pandemic hit in March 2020. BW's COVID policies are sensible and straightforward, making it easy to understand. I did not once feel uncomfortable or unsafe during my stay. It was clean and pleasant, and as always the staff were friendly and helpful. Best part about this hotel is it's location in the Montreal downtown core. Easy access to plenty of shops, restaurants and 2 subway/metro stations within 5 minutes walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel if you are liking for a clean and unfussy room in the heart of the city.
