This is Canada Unfortunately this experience is a metaphor for the "Canadian Way". Rules are on paper and enforced only on those who try to respect them. No smoking: piles of cigarette butts all over their pretty roof-top gardens. Covid? Whaaa? Half the guests don't wear masks, right in the face of employees who could not care less. Hell, some of the janitors could not be bother either. Unionized much? A bunch of Polish tourists laughing it out right in my face when commented on not following the rules. Clearly someone feels superior. Lobby looks like WWII just ended. Rooms are decent but short on supplies (bring your own shampoo if staying more than two days). After a four day stay, the trash cans haven't been emptied: I can make my own bed but I don't know where the communal dumpster is. Oh hold on, is this a hotel? You had me fooled. And at the end of it all, we were "checked out by some random employee" and full hour before showing up at the reception. To this day I'm not sure whether this is some mistake or fraud, the invoice was clear as mud so it's hard to tell how many of those naturally superior beings have had drinks on my account. I could go on. I'm pissed off days after. Don't go there.

Amazing hotel I went with my 17 and 14 old kids for a Week-End. It was just amazing, without any pretension for a 4 stars hotel, we had a magnificent time. The gardens are beautiful and the hotel people extremely nice, professional.

Impeccable ! We spent an impeccable stress-free weekend at the Hotel Bonaventure Montreal. Clean spacious rooms, above quality room service food, amazing family fun at the outdoor rooftop pool. Professional and friendly service from all staff. I highly recommend this ''under the radar'' downtown hotel. High safety COVID standards.

Great stay We had a great night stay here at the Bonaventure Hotel. Staff was great and the grounds (pool area) was very nice. Great location in Downtown area. The extra money we paid to get a renovated room was worth it as it was very nice. We went as a couples getaway (staycation) but it is super kid friendly. We saw many families there....it made us miss our kids! We will go back with them in the near future.

superbe It's was wonderful, the swimming pool is so cool, the kids are welcome and the food is very good. You will enjoy your trip in Montreal in this hotel, near the subway, in the heart of the city. Enjoy the vue!
