Romantic getaway We just spent the weekend at Le Germain Montréal. We booked the 4 course fine dining, parking and breakfast included. It was a perfect way to celebrate our babymoon _ Thank you to Jacques Alexandre, Alexandra and the rest of the team for the incredible hospitality! I will be back for sure.

disapointed I booked a package with gastronomique dinner and overnight stay. Celebrating our 45 th anniversary. The surroundings were great in downtown Montreal. Room very nice with a view. The disappointment was the price 500$ I was willing to pay but was very high for what we received. The dinner was not a wow to call home I would rate a 3. Breakfast was continental instead of full breakfast ☹️I had asked for a special attention because of our anniversary and the response was very positive so I did expect a little something to make our stay special nothing much ..then when I arrived I wanted to make sure that the little attention was taking care of and again was told yes we will arrange that. Well that did not happen so for me the service was not to my expectation. When we left the person at the desk did not ask for our opinion on our stay but the valet did. I will not go back.

Great hotel ! My wife and I did a staycation at the Germain last week. We had a great time. The hotel was renovated and looks very good. I even thought it was nicer than the Four Seasons Montreal (another staycation a few months ago). The location is perfect, very close to the McGill campus which makes for a romantic walk after dinner. We had dinner in our room and the food was excellent and warm. The wine list is interesting. The continental breakfast the next morning was also very good. Keep in mind that the rooms are on the small side and I guess the water pressure in the shower could have been better. But overall, our one romantic night at the Germain was a great success and I would recommend it to anyone. We'll be back.

Excellent An absolutely excellent stay at the hotel Germain. Service was outstanding and the bar was top shelf with 2 dollar oyster night and half price wine. Room was small but cozy and they did a good job making us feel safe

Great hotel in Montreal My partner and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. Pluses: very comfy bed (form, which we like), friendly staff, good breakfast (more choice than we were expecting for a continental breakfast), good wifi, easy walk to train station and downtown stores, trendy retro feel. Negatives: none! Would definitely stay here again. The shower has a glass wall, so be warned if you’re modest.
