Blue Sail Inn

Perfect hotel to experience Morro Bay I really enjoyed my stay at the Blue Sail Inn. The rooms are relatively large, and everything was clean. The location is centrally located in Morro Bay, within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and the bay itself. The people at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again! The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the mattresses could have been more comfortable.

Stunning view from our room My spouse and I stayed two nights in the deluxe king ocean view room (#301). The room was large, clean and the view was absolutely amazing. There is an elevator as well as stairs. The walkway outside the hotel room doors is enclosed which is very nice. Bed was comfortable. It’s Nextdoor to Dorn’s restaurant where we enjoyed breakfast a couple of times. Would definitely recommend. It is on the upper end of the financial scale, but the room and view make it worthwhile.

Great 2nd Stay at the Blue Sail Inn Came up last week for the second time in three years and had a great stay. Booked the partial view accessible room (121) as it was the only accessible room in town that had a balcony with a view. The room was super clean and since it was in the corner in the west building, it was very client and no one staying above you. Had everything you need, microwave, fridge, keurig, and wifi. The TV was decent and was able to stream on it. The wall heater did a good job keeping the room warm and was quiet. The staff is super friendly and helpful and Molly the cat mascot was cute. The inn sits on a rise above the main street in the middle so you are close to everything. Breakfast wasn't much, you get a bag with a choice of juice and a pastry. I was told I can pick two for each of us so ended up with extras. There is a restaurant next door where you can have breakfast plus all the other ones on the main drag. The room rate was pretty reasonable. We will definitely stay again.

Convenient lodging in Morro Bay Blue Sail is nicely situated, with friendly service, but the facilities are clearly aging. Our room had a nice balcony and sofa, but lacked air conditioning (had a plug-in fan), and the bathroom sink did not drain when we first checked in. Our stay included a "breakfast" that was more of a mid-morning snack (pre-packaged granola bar and/or mozzarella cheese stick, or danish). Still... it was convenient and the staff worked hard to welcome us and make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Blue sail inn morro bay July 2023 Hi we stayed here for one night and had two rooms. What a great place, the staff made it they were so helpful and friendly. The place was clean with everything you required. There is lots of parking. You get a good view of the bay and the rock which is great. In the area there is a great breakfast place next door and a restaurant the staff recommended a ten minute walk away. There is also sea otters in the bay by the rock, falcons nesting in the cliff, herons on the rocks fishing. It’s quite a nice relaxing place.
