Great stop off for a break from driving 1 night stop off in beautiful Morro Bay on our way to Monterery. We booked a room with a view and it provided us with the most beautiful sunset view! We weren't aware when booking that this hotel reception closes at 9pm and reopens at 7am. However, there is a number to call in emergencies. It's such a quiet small town I can't ever see there being anti social issues. We enjoyed our stay here. No a/c but a fan over the beds. We were in an inter connecting room and could hear our neighbours but they were quiet at a reasonable hour. Hope to visit Morro Bay again soon. Oh our room was 316 as you can select your room when your booking. In my photos you will see view from our balcony.

Clean, spacious room in a great location Super clean, huge room with a great view. Front desk was so helpful and recommended great restaurants. Great stopover on our drive south of the West Coast. We could hear the seals from the boardwalk which was super cool. Great little shops in this lovely coastal town.

Great quiet property We stayed here again over a birthday weekend and had a very relaxing time. The hotel is at the end of the main road so very quiet morning and night. With no air conditioning you need to keep the door open at night or the comfy bed and comforters can be quite warm. There is a fan above the bed but I don’t like to have air blowing on me when I sleep. We had a balcony that was on the outer part of building (not set in) and it was great to sit and take in the views , sunset and wildlife. Lots of restaurants for breakfast and dinner close by. Nothing is far away; convenient to everything. The owner / manager Patrick was helpful in booking the room and a couple other scenarios. Very friendly staff.

Incredible service! We stayed two nights in one of the full bay view upstairs room. It was very comfortable, with a fireplace and balcony. We had a nice view of the bay, Morro Rock and the downtown area. The staff was all great. We arrived hours before check in time, but our room was ready and they were kind enough to allow us to check in early. After our wonderful stay, we realized my wife's favorite pillow was left in the room. We called the next day and they had found it and shipped it overnight to our house without charging us anything. That is great service that is very rare these days. We will visit again on our next trip to Morro Bay!

Well run with a great team. Very impressed with the Embarcadero and its staff. When a family emergency disrupted our plans, Patrick and the team were gracious to accommodate our needs. We travel to CA often. The next time we're in Morro Bay, we know where we'll be staying.
