Feels like home The Seal Cove Inn is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast Inn in the Half Moon Bay, California area. It sits in the Fitzgerald pine forest Reserve and backs onto the pacific Ocean. It is a serene and restful area. The room was very well kept with a fireplace, comfortable bed and as chairs. It had a slider door that allowed you to access the back of the house with chairs to have a tranquil morning reading or enjoying the birds and flowers. Breakfast was arranged before hand and served at you request in the room or in the dining room. An afternoon glass of wine was enjoyed in the living room or outside in the beautiful garden area. Don’t miss the Moss Beach Distillery for a nice dinner inside or outside on the back patio area with an ocean view. We have been here many times in the past. While things have changed slightly, we will return again when in the area.

Serene, romantic getaway... I love this place it exceeded all of our expectations. Tiny suggestion is to have corkscrews in every room and a charging station . The pillows, bedding were sooo soft I want to buy same for my home. Huge bathroom, the grounds are incredible and easy access to viewing seals lounging on beach. This was the perfect getaway to wind down from our busy days. The ladies running the inn are all friendly and gave a wonderful breakfast, wine in the evening and cookies.

The most wonderful experience This hotel sets the gold standard for all hotels. I can’t think of a single thing I could give negative stars to because everything was so perfect and elegantly done at the Seal Cove Inn 10/10. The location, the cleanliness, the breakfasts were all perfect.

Excellent stay at Seal Cove Inn We had an awesome stay at Seal Cove Inn. Lovely staff, rooms and the daily breakfast was delicious. The wines at the daily happy hour were very good as well. Beautiful grounds and the location was perfect for us with many nearby hiking trails!

UNDERPRICED. OVERDELIVERED. The Inn itself is so beautiful. We were instantly greeted by a kind front desk worker named Sharon who gave us free cookies. Free breakfast every morning with plenty of choices - brought right to your door. The room has its own big bottles of soap, shampoo, and conditioner, big bottle of hand soap and lotion. There’s free water and soda. You can hear the ocean from your room depending on which one you get (we had a 2nd floor deluxe with the balcony). Everything is so extremely clean. It’s good for younger or older couples for sure. This place is extremely generous, and for the price, so worth it. I think the only thing keeping it from being more expensive is an ocean view. If I had to choose any negatives: the room got a little warm because the sun shines through a high window, and I’m not sure that the thermostat has an air conditioning option. No worries - the screen door usually can cool off the room.
