Was convenient to family but poorly maintained Was dirty, no forks, curtains falling off, breakfast was bad! No daily maids due to VOVID, pool closed, toilet was stained. All in all a poor experience. Appeared to be remodeling. So many it will improve.

Misleading and disappointing 1st the room we got was not clean well. Thank God I had my own bleach and Lysol. The pull out mattress had stains on it and bedroom blanket was dirty. The walls had dirt on them and tub was dirty. Me and my kids didn't get any breakfast. They claimed breakfast was from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. who is up with children at 6:30 am? We got there 8:31 there was no sign of any breakfast being served and I was told they didn't have anything. Very disappointed

Far below Marriott standards I wanted to share our experience during our recent stay at Residence Inn Mt. Laurel. Marriott is usually our first choice hotel for both leisure and business - and we have always had wonderful experiences. This past stay on 7/31/2020 felt like I was in a nightmare! Understanding we are still in a pandemic, there was no reason for the filth and lack of care in the room we were in. Walking down the main hallway to the elevator I noticed the stained carpet and ripped off base moulding - I figured it was construction. Then the room, 1-bdr king. The smell when we walked in was of stale smoke, stronger in the bathroom (was a non-smoking room). Their were flies in the bedroom, yes, flies! Mold on the tub, a previous guests hair pins on the bathroom floor, a dirty, stained pull out sofa, non-working light bulbs and a non working TV....should I continue? No garbage can in the kitchen, missing utensils and pans.... I really felt I was in a motel than has never been cleaned. I went down to the front desk and spoke with the gal on duty, she was very pleasant and said the hotel was booked and we couldn't switch rooms. She sent up housekeeping - housekeeping arrived and sprayed an aerosol in the room to the point my kids were coughing and begging to go somewhere else. I tried many other hotels and all were booked - but I did secure a different hotel for our second nights stay.

Not Marriott standards This hotel does not meet Marriott standards in any way, shape or form. If you took at 1960s vintage motel, and slapped a Residence Inn face lift on the front, you would get this hotel. The inside smells like old cigarettes. The furniture is old and chewed up by pets. Everything is dirty. They hacked together a corner of the room to put in a 'kitchen'. This hotel is nasty be any standard.

It's busy in here with non-travelers Our stay here was just okay...a little solemn in the sense that there a lot of displaced families here due to loss, so it's a bit of an odd feeling, especially if you're traveling on vacation. Hallways smell of home-cooking. The pool was not warm. Breakfast was busy, with a lot of families and folks bringing plates back to their rooms. Check-in was standard; the room was nice and big, but not huge. Bigger than average, I suppose. Very typical to other Residence Inn's. Nothing new, and or unique here. Plenty of room to go for a run/jog around the facility without having to cross any highways. Staff was not helpful with upgrades; apparently, larger rooms are reserved for families in need of a new place to live. Okay establishment, I will not be back.
