Decent but could use some TLC Stayed here for two months for work. The staff were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The rooms have a nice layout with a full size fridge, dishwasher and stove top. They provide dishes, cutlery, pans etc. Shower pressure was OK. Room was quiet. I would avoid getting a room that overlooks the barbecue area unless you like the smell of cigarette smoke. Some of the room could use some TLC. The chair was just torn to shreds in each of the rooms I had. The fitness room is small but sufficient. There is no breakfast. They have a small, thin pool at the moment but it is closed. I was told they are removing it and putting a gazebo in its place. Weird move. A hotel in the south where it is extremely hot without a pool, even a small one, just seems like a bad decision. Free laundry machines is a big plus. The parking can be an issue. There aren’t a lot of spaces but you can park across the street at the other hotel. Ot can get annoying sometimes but not a big deal. But even that lot fills up sometimes. The location is great. There is a nice park under the bridge walking distance. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. I can’t comment on price cause work was paying. Not a bad stay.

Disappointing given high price We paid $370 for ONE night at this property and we're disappointed with how dirty and run down the room was. The lock on our door was broken, the air conditioning control panel in the main living area was broken, there were holes in the walls in the kitchen and one bedroom, and in two of the air conditioners there were strange purple confetti pieces (or possibly candy) stuck inside the vent that looked like they had melted. We also found popcorn inside the couch when we pulled out the bed. One window was broken and the glass had a huge crack in it. Given what we paid, the quality of the room and that there is no pool or complimentary breakfast, it is way overpriced. Oher issue was noise - the guests above our room were extremely loud (stomping/jumping on floor, running around) and kept us up a long time. That being said - the lady who checked us in at the front desk was quite nice and helpful. My spouse did call her right after we got to our room to report the broken door.

Still great rates and service Competitive summer rates. It's been a few years now since their changeover to Candlewood and I still enjoy staying here. Rooms are fresh and the AC works great for the Charleston area humidity. For a couple of nights it's great, I loved having fridge, microwave and dishes/dishwasher for breakfast and take out meals to enjoy. Cons: Not enough parking, so most days I parked across street. If you have dually truck, a trailer, large van or motorhome you will be across street too. Walls are thin. If you can sleep to hallway noises, or kids stomping above you, bring ear plugs or find a app on your phone for white noise.

Quiet Spring Break Nice room with two separate bedrooms and a kitchenette. Location was good as it was close to Trader Joe’s, Target and other stores for easy meal prep. Rooms were clean and quiet. Parking available with overflow parking across the street at Comfort Inn.
