I love this gem, I've stayed here at least 5 times. I love this little gem. Clean, Comfortable, Convenient, Charming. I've stayed here about five times during my travels and I've never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The location allows for choices in dinner, lunch and breakfast within a short walk. I always feel safe walking around the area. The Mexican restaurant next door is my usual go-to. And I am so grateful they allow dogs, my pup loved our stay too.

Not worth the cost We had stayed here several months ago in a King Suite and while the room was rustic, it was comfortable and clean. This time we stayed in a Queen "Suite" and it was not a good experience. It is not a suite - it's just a room and it is very tight. There was a portable, very loud a/c and a heater which, even lowered, was too hot. The temp in the shower was luke warm. At the price we paid, the value just isn't there. Pros: breakfast was delicious and staff is very friendly and it is quiet. Also the bed is comfortable.

Adorable, comfortable, clean, little gem tucked in the trees. This hotel was the quaintest, comfortable, clean, quiet place. Adorable rooms with lovely chandeliers and decor. The bed was comfortable and cozy. I am picky about toiletries, and usually bring my own, but these seemed to be good quality and smelled nice. The breakfast was homemade berry waffle with a boiled egg and was so yummy! I didn't get the name of the woman who made and served breakfast, but she was really nice and told us a little history of the hotel. We look forward to coming back!

Really nice and comfortable place to stay in Mt. Shasta CA Happened upon the SVI when my wife and I were looking for a place to stay for the night in the middle of long drive from Vancouver WA to Reno NV - were very pleasantly surprised to find a room with a very soft and comfortable bed and excellent furnishings. There were several garden areas around the hotel where one could sit and enjoy the fresh air and tall pine trees of the area. There was a restaurant right across the street which was very convenient with very good food and there was also a continental breakfast served in the morning at the SVI (although we left early in the morning before it started). Will definitely stay there again if our travels will find us needing a place to stay on the I-5 corridor between California and Oregon.

Perfect Small Hotel Beautiful property in Mount Shasta, walking distance to restaurants and shops . Several outdoor seating areas under shade trees plus a patio outside the room. Breakfast was delicious and had choices for everyone. The afternoon wine was a nice touch. Our king bed room was very clean and included frig and microwave.
