Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville SE Murfreesboro

Worst Experience ever. Our recent stay at Embassy Suites Murfreesboro TN. was so bad that we packed up and left before our check out date and went next door to Court Yard Marriott. The suites are filthy and smelly, shower moldy, they are not cleaned often enough and they need a serious update. We usually stay at Hotels with 4 stars and above to avoid the unpleasantness of poor service and poorly maintained hotel. Hilton shows this as a 4.5 star on their site, at best it is a 3 star Hotel and one we would never look at if it were accurately branded. Even other third party online reservations shows this as a 3.5 star hotel. We had 2 reservations rolled into 1 for a 6 night stay. By the 5th night and lack of cleanliness at the hotel we called corporate and left for Court Yard Marriott next door. It was a breath of fresh air literally . Embassy Suites smelled terrible and Marriott was fantastic. We could not get the room at Embassy Suites cleaned daily as requested . All the Front desk would ask in an accusatory manner was did you have the do not disturb on the door. We did not. When they actually (cleaned) the room it was mediocre at best not the service of a 4.5 Star hotel and not what I would expect of a Hilton brand. Twice we returned to the hotel after a long day away only to have to wait for someone to service the room. Trash removal, refill coffee, soap? Is that too much to ask for? If Embassy Suites was unable to provide this service they should have said so. Manage our expectations instead they insinuated it was our fault. This is not my expectation of a 4.5 star Hotel. If I had to compare it to 2 brands we know well, Embassy Suites would be Walmart and Court Yard by Marriott would be Target. I have requested a refund still waiting for someone to get back to me. If you have a stay coming up go to Court Yard they are literally next door to Embassy Suites. Save yourself the hassle.

Great experience Always a great place to stay. Happy hour with free drinks and snacks is always nice. Best free hotel breakfast out there, too. Cooked to order omelettes are a hit with my kids. Easily walkable to some dining options is also a plus. Spacious rooms with 2 areas makes it comfortable to wind down.

Would be Nicer if Not Overrun with Kids This hotel is definitely an old school Embassy Suites without the hot tub. We were unable to use the pool since hotel was hosting multiple tournament teams and any public areas were packed with kids. Needed to request bedding for the sofa bed and additional towels.

Lives up to the name The hotel is clean and exactly what you would expect from a high class ES. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The only issue I had is the same as every hotel with king beds; they use regular sized pillows instead of king sized. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints!

Great stay We had a lovely stay while traveling. Above and beyond with Hospitality and very welcoming. The happy hour bartenders were pleasant the front desk was great from check in and breakfast was good. Great nights sleep loved the pillows very spacious room. In the evening we did walk to Johnathan’s for a sports bar dinner and watch some games. The hotel was quiet and safe feeling! We will stay again.
