Fleabag The best thing I can say about this place is Rico at front desk, who went out of his way to get us a 4 night refund through Expedia. Torn curtains, lights ou, and some disgusting stain on mattress that makes me ill even describing. This place needs to give it up and just tear it down. Do not stay here. OLD STYLE TV, terrible internet.

Do not stay here We needed to overnight in Muskegon MI to go to Bluecamp Lake Arts Camp to see a grandchild's concert. Apparently there were several things happening in Muskegon.... and prices were very high. A Victory Inn was a moderately priced( over $100 at the time) place for a bed/shower. Our daughter and her spouse.. who've stayed in hostels, campsites ,and friend's floors....were told not to expect much. "Oh dad, don't be rediculous!". They arrived first... and we get a frantic phone call. "This place is dirty, creepy...smells like a nursing home.... we are leaving." We checked it out, and it was, indeed, awful. Should have read the reviews!! We WERE able to get a full refund thru Expedia. However, this place should not even be offered as an option by any travel site.

Dated is one thing, Nasty is another We've stayed all over the world, and granted some hotels are dated and need updating. We had no choice as all the other hotels in the area were booked, so we booked the Victory Inn. It was very dated and quite reminiscent of the hotel in American Horror Story Hotel. I was willing to overlook the dated and spooky. We get to our room and the curtains will not close completely letting in street light from the very busy road. Of the 4 lamps in the room only one works so we didn't notice at first when we pulled the bedding back that it was soiled with semen. As my husband crawled into bed I said "what is that?" he got up, I got the mini flashlight from my purse and there it was. Crusty and real and in several spots on the sheet. We had no where else to go and home was very far away so we called to have the bedding changed. We were told it would take 20 minutes. It was 11:00 so we waited...and waited...and waited. No one came up, so we packed up our belongings, loaded them in the car and made the long trip home through the night. When people would rather make a late night drive than to sleep on sex stained sheets and when the counter staff do not care and seem to take it as a matter of course, that tells you you are better off sleeping in your car in the Walmart parking lot than stay at this hotel ever.
