Good Value If you are looking for a 5 star resort then this is not it. But if you want a clean room that is convenient to everything then this is it. Our room was a little small for a condo and the stove and fridge were dated, but the rooms were clean and everything functioned. Air conditioning was great and our unit had a washer and dryer which was nice. Breakfast is across the street, but they let you get to go boxes which was convenient with two 15 year old's who slept until noon. The property had two small pools and a small lazy river that were clean (but small). There was a jacuzzi and a workout room as well. Beach was easy to get to and lifeguards were on the beach. Parking was included which was also nice. The staff was very friendly and very present, which made you feel safe. Did not notice any "undesirable" characters hanging around . The rooms could use updating but overall a good place to stay. As long as you aren't expecting the Ritz Carlton then you will be happy with the Carolinian Beach Resort.

Ok stay for the price Ok stay for the price Lots of room for improvement. Key didn't work to open room - they ended up changing the lock Phone in room didn't work at all (didn't need it - but it wasn't working) Both Elevators kept breaking down Furniture is outdated in room Room had a bad smell in it. Finding a spot to park to check in is awful Included breakfast was great though

Amazing Views from Unit 1533 one of the best in Myrtle Beach The owner has put a lot of thought into this unit making it a truly exceptional vacation experience. Beautiful views and decor. A coffee bar and bags to collect shells, beach chairs, beach towels and boogie boards. Even two drawers full of games and coloring books for adults and children and books and puzzles in the condo. Two balconies one that is oceanfront and one on the side that can be accessed from both bedrooms. Enjoyed time with my friends watching sunrise and sunsets with coffee or wine in the evenings.

Avoid this resort. Me and my girlfriend stayed here last month for a weekend, which was supposed to be calm and relaxing stay was turned into a nightmare by awful communication, poor customer service and very unsafe covid environment (no social distancing). Us and dozens of other customers checking in waited for our rooms for HOURS on hours without any reasonable explanation from the staff. The manager was nowhere to be seen making his reception workers taking in all the blame. Once trying to confront the manger he gets offended if you use the word “bull****” and tells you the conversation is over, like child. Do you have any idea what your employees had to take the night before when you had your “day off”? Airbnb has been trying to chase them down for any kind of explanation for what happened so we could get a refund but all this has been unsuccessful. Just this by itself tells you all you need to know about how this resort operates and treats their customers. If you want to have a relaxing and stress free vacation stay at any of the other neighboring resorts. Carolinian Beach Resort is not worth it.

Zero stars! Do not rent a room here!! Let me try and narrow things down a little bit. Rude staff. Had no running water for 7.5 hours one day with only a few hours notice. Key cards would randomly stop working. Pools are not clean. The washer and dryer in the room ruined several items of our clothing. The AC doesn’t work. Asked to speak to a manager, they have a sign that says one is on staff 24/7, yet the manager won’t be in until this afternoon to speak with me. As I was walking away from the desk, the staff member sarcastically mumbled “wow” under his breath. Not the best customer service if you ask me. I generally just let things go when I’m on vacation, but this has really upset all of us on this family vacation. Since I’ve made multiple trips to the office, I have witnessed several other people that were upset about various things, either calling or down there in person.
