THERE'S ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT Overall, the hotel isn't bad however there's a few rough spots that had me concerned. I got in late at night and the first room they put me in smelled like an old, wet dog...the pungent smell hit hard into my nostrils. The front desk attendant swapped me rooms immediately. The stairs smelled like a toilet from an old truck stop gas station. The staff was great and very helpful. Make sure you call and ask for your room to be cleaned because according to one staff member, it was my fault I didn't request it. The second staff member rectified that issue and had my room serviced ASAP. I'd suggest going to a drug store, or gas station for water because it's $4 for a small bottle. Parking was great and again, the staff was great. The building is old and needs lots of upgrades and renovations. It's not a 5 star hotel by any means...but...if you're looking to lay your head down in a descent spot and enjoy Myrtle Beach, this is a good place to go. The restaurants aren't far away and the beach is close by.

Overall good As a pet friendly hotel it was great! Was a bit disappointed with the Starbucks not actually being available and the bar only being half open. Some more detail could be used with cleaning the room, lots of dust. But overall would recommend and would stay again.

Short Stay in Myrtle Beach Honestly, we were there for a short get away trip. The place was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy like a memory foam, but not stiff but not a sinking type. We also enjoyed a soak in the hot tub, very relaxing. There were several places to sit outside and chill. We did not have food or beverages at the hotel. The location was close to outlets and Barefoot Landing. But very tricky to turn left, when leaving property.

Good but not great… The initial impression was good—updated lobby that smelled great! We had two rooms however, both of which were a bit tired looking and smelling and most certainly were not the cleanest. However after my cleaning it was tolerable for what we needed.

best staff around I have stayed at this hotel for over a year. I love the staff and the that it is so close to so much. I will say... I was upgraded this time, and the KING BED WAS HORRIBLE. it was sooooo hard. I usually get the two queen beds, and they are super soft. But that king was not... I will continue to stay.. but will keep my Queen bed.. :)
