Details matter We have been going to the Embassy Suites at Kingston plantation for 20+ years and always have enjoyed the easy access to the beach and many of the hotel amenities. Our most recent trip to the remodeled hotel left us a little underwhelmed. The air conditioning in the lobby was not functioning normally, and the portable units were noisy and not quite up to the task. One elevator was working but continuously said that it was on floor nine and going down even when it was going up and on a different floor! Both sets of doors leading directly to the pool were unusable, necessitating a long walk around with sandy beach stuff. The new pool is wonderful, but the live entertainment at the poolside was way too loud for my 18 year old as well as for me — even with my ears under water — and they wouldn’t turn it down when asked. One day, the pool area ran out of towels. The balconies no longer have tables, which makes it challenging to eat outside in our damp suits the way we typically would while waiting for our showers. This wouldn’t be a big deal if any of the indoor chairs were wet-bathing-suit friendly, but they aren’t. Lastly, we were charged for an item at the coffee shop that we did not purchase. Each of these items is small potatoes, but added together they indicate a lack of attention to the details of guest comfort. I hope that these issues are addressed to return this hotel to the wonderful family getaway that it has always been.

Amazing amenities! This resort was the perfect spot for a family. The suites were spacious and the view of the ocean on the 18th floor was immaculate! The breakfast was amazing and amenities on the property were accommodating! Our kids really loved the waterpark !

Beware of False Room charges and Fales room damages !! I've stayed in Hilton and never accused of this before ~~~ My FamilyTraveled to hotel to relax as I was having Brain Surgery on 8-5-24 ' The service was poor and out room had preexisting damage . My room was no charge as a reward for American Express Diamond member . We checked out and the false charges started ( Room charges . Room damage and none was valid !! I never received a call from the Manager !! I want a refund !!!

Thank you Bunny and Kaisee This was our second time at Kingston Plantation, but first time staying at a condo. The original room we got, South Hampton 1208, was in need of a major update. The door locks did not work, pans were dirty, and stains on the wall. We addressed these issues with Bunny, who informed us that the units are individually owned so Hilton had no way of knowing the status of a room until a customer informed them. Unfortunately, the condos were booked for night. However without hesitation Bunny and Kaisee went above and beyond to compensate us for the issues and find us a new room the following day. - Housekeeping was very slow. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo and only had 4 towels. We had to request more towels 3 times before some actually made it to our room. The water park and other amenities cannot be beat. Overall, we recommend the Kingston resort due to people like Bunny and Kaisee!

Find another hotel - there are plenty. We just returned from a week's vacation with my family. I'm a Hilton Diamond member and loyal. 1 positive, the pool area looked nice. Negatives: Line up at 7:30 am for 9 am pool, lobby AC broken, toilet didn't flush, insufficient housekeeping, long breakfast lines, old food, broken safe and door handle, no hot water, noisy pipes, no WiFi. Disgusting.
