Fun time tucked away from the hustle and bustle I enjoyed my stay at this ocean front resort. I stayed in a villa in West Hyde Park (2B). It was very nicely decorated with a calming coastal theme. The kitchen had all the little things needed for me to cook nice meals and I didn’t feel cramped in the kitchen. We loved sitting outside on the deck looking at the trees and nature. I was only a very short walk to the beach, pools and the beer Garten (Black Drum), where we played corn hole during happy hour. I liked that my friends and we could use the shuttle bus to take us places nearby - shopping and restaurants and entertainment line Barefoot Landing and Duplin Winery.

The best property managers ever!! I can't save enough about how great the property managers were. We got caught up in the Microsoft issue and our flight was canceled. I was about to give up on our vacation until I spoke to Charlene with Kingston. She really listened and empathized with me. She was so positive and told me I shouldn't give up and just to get here. It just took my stress away and we rebooked our flight and got their the next day. The condo was great! We could walk to the water park and beach with ease. There was also plenty of parking of we wanted to drive. The condo was very clean and had all we needed to cook breakfast there which saved us a ton vs going out. The place was spacious and in good shape. We don't normally go back to the same place but we will absolutely come back here.

Disappointing Stay at Kingston Plantation: Unit Condition Fell Short My family and I recently stayed at Kingston Plantation, and while the location and views were stunning, we were very disappointed with the condition of our unit. It was evident that the unit had not been cleaned in weeks—dust was thick behind the headboard, and we even found a dirty used bandage between the headboard and nightstand. We also encountered at least four bugs in the unit, some alive and others dead. Additionally, the furniture was outdated, which felt misleading given that the Hilton agent had directed me to the Kingston Plantation Resort website showcasing modern units with large windows and breathtaking views. If you’re considering staying here, make sure to request photos of the exact unit you’ll be assigned. I left a review with Hilton a few weeks ago but only received an automated response acknowledging receipt of my message. I never heard back from them, which was quite unprofessional. This experience was disappointing for me, my husband, and our three kids.

Disappointed and will not return The view was nice. The kids enjoyed the shopping and local attractions in Myrtle Beach. However, the SH building was old, smelled musty and was dirty and outdated. The unit had a door connected to another unit that was locked. This should have been disclosed. The people in the other unit were extremely loud, had the volume of the tv up, had a unconsolable crying baby and kids kept knocking on the connecting door late at night. This continued after 2 am. The unit had black mold on the shower curtains. The dishes were dirty. Currents Pool complex is very crowded. Not enough chairs and towels for the number of people. Two days we were there, they had no towels at the pool. The pool had cups and bandaids floating. There were also bags of trash outside of the building. Not sure if this is all typical, but we left before expected.
