Don't Stay There Unless You Are A Partier To whom it may concern: My wife and I booked a four night stay with hopes of enjoying ourselves at your facility and the beach at Myrtle Beach. We arrived Saturday June 15th 2024. The room was not ready until after 4:00 pm. As soon as we checked in and received our keys, room 603 we quickly changed and went to the beach. Later on (approximately 8:00 pm) we returned to the room where we found that the plumbing above us was leaking from the ceiling into our bathroom and there was a very foul odor. We called the desk and a maintenance worker came: he caulked around the base of our stool (it was loose and rocking - wax ring seal was surely compromised). Then he went upstairs and later returned saying that the tenants above had merely splashed water on the floor. Unfortunately this leaking occurred more than just the one time . . . *I would recommend checking the plumbing for leaks. Also, I noticed that the tub in our room has a crack in the base that might result in leaks to the room below. Also, housekeeping came with a can of spray scent to attempt to cover up the obnoxiuos smell. We refused as this would not stop the smell but add to the overall unpleasant odors. Both my wife and I suffer from allergies and could not stand to have this done. The room does not have sufficient electrical outlets as I must use a CPAP and my wife has to use a fan = we could not find enough outlets. I asked for an extension cord and never received one. There was no table or luggage rack on which to place our luggage. Only one chair. The carpeting is filthy and now so are my socks. The curtains do not block the exterior light. The neighbors stood outside our a/c unit smoking and the smoke was drawn into our room. The television is not operating correctly as it gets loud then soft intermittantly throughout all shows and even the commercials. This location is poor as the area is apparently a party zone: loud music, noisy people, loud cars, etc. The freezer in the refrigerator is iced over and should be defrosted. There are no amenities to speak of: no coffee, cups, pool towels, anything that we are accustomed to in normal hotel / motel stays. This stay was so bad that we had to cancel the last three nights and go elsewhere. My opinion is that this place is overpriced for the offering, I feel misled by the staff member who I called and made the reservation with on the phone, etc. *I would have canceled the first night after we realized that the situation was so bad but was told that there was no refund available, it was too late to try and find another place to spend that night, and frankly, we were very tired. I don't really want to complete the survey on line because I don't want to run the place down - but I don't feel that I could give it a very good rating as I have nothing good to say. Initially I was charged a $168.27 Deposit and then I was refunded $7.89 for a net charge of $160.38. I was told that there would be a military discount upon proof of service (I assume that was the refund). Unfortunately we are very unhappy with our stay at your facility and appeal to you to inspect / review your facility for defects and repair and improve them. Dan M. P.S. I do a lot of travel and have stayed as much as 188 nights in hotels in one year . . . this is among the 3 worst hotel stays that I've experience in over 20 years of travel.

Terrible worst dirtiest motel in the states don't fall in this trap , the worst dirtiest motel in the states , dirty rooms , charges hidden and fees forced on check in even if you prepay through third party , pool dirty , elevator one that is not working , ice machine out of order , bad parking , Room AC not cooling , bath tub faucets broke , no room fire alarm working , the beds are facing AC with room air blowing on your back , dirty indoor pool , jacuzzi tub not working , and on top of that only one foul receptionist service on arrival with bad fruad attitude that will force you to sign papers and take cash on top of your prepaid booking that is over your approved rate. don't fall for this trap , a state investigation is submitted to shut this. illigal false fruad business , this is no place for a human to have any fun without the horrible stress , imagine you have kids and the electric wall outlets are wide exposed

Don’t go here for an easy weekend in myrtle beach Make sure if you go here EVERYONE coming has a valid hard copy ID. They wouldn’t take a guest of the rooms temporary state ID. We had a paper copy and a digital copy. They said we had to also pay 100$ extra dollars because we booked online through booking.com. We also had to go to the hotel next door to check in. The clerks were EXTREMELY rude and not willing to discuss any options we had, and our only option was to not stay here, so we didn’t! They told us if anyone was in the room without valid information they would do “security checks” and not refund anything we’ve spent. We went down the road and paid less for 3 nights at the beachcomber inn and it’s cleaner and the staff was great. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay at ocean plaza or Polynesian (affiliated partner) in myrtle beach SC.

Pleasant and budget friendly Budget friendly! Ocean front and in a great location. Rooms were clean and comfortable, it was spring break so there was some loud crowds up late. Staff was wonderful! The front desk lady Mickalia was very friendly and helpful, and she made mine and my sons stay for his cheer competition very pleasant! Indoor pool was very cold but there was a hot tub to enjoy.

Wonderful, Exciting, comfortable and clean This place is absolutely amazing. A great architectural historic delight! The staff was amazing. Rooms were very clean. They have two pools. One indoor and one out door. A well lit beach front for walking at night. The kitchens were well stocked with all appliances and utensils. We were greeted by Mickalia. She was the best part of our stay! She made sure we had everything we needed for a save and fun stay! She takes her job very serious. She's extremely professional. I'd take her with me in a heart beat! She makes you feel welcomed. All in all I think this is the best place you can stay whether your alone or with friends or family.
