"house keeping" didn't clean our room the whole time we was there (6days) the office closes and no one there to help after he closes it. Found two cockroaches in the room on our last day there... Spend your money on a different

ROACHES, DISGUSTING ROACHES! Totally DISGUSTING! Upon entering room 204 on 7/20/21 we noticed the floor was dirty and sandy, dried food in corner under table. It hadn’t been swept much less mopped. The bathroom sink was dirty and toilet either severely stained or filthy. We saw several roaches on a daily basis. After checking nearby hotels and no vacancies…we went and purchased bug spray, Clorox wipes, pillows, sheets, pillowcases and washcloths to use. We put the sheets over theirs, wiped everything down with Clorox wipes and never went bare foot, not even in the shower. When I told the man in the office, I’m assuming the owner, about the bugs…his only reply was “can’t help that people bring bugs with them”! He did ask me my room number when I told him the room had hardly been cleaned. But he offered no discount or apology. The bath towels and washcloths were stained and looked worse than my husband car towels so we used the wash cloths that we bought and our beach towels. The pool area was dirty and littered with cigarette butts and trash and the pool water cloudy. When I pointed this out, I was told the rain made it cloudy and the pool guy was off that day. Even the path to the beach was nasty. Litter, cigarette butts and nasty water running across the parking lot. I slept with one eye open and with the lights on for 3 nights … had it not been for disappointing my granddaughters we would have just come home. To top it off, someone stole 2 of our beach towels off the railing our last night. Made memoirs for sure. Ones we will never forget. This place should be condemned. Instead of extra cleaning for Covid….our room had little to none. $510 for 3 week nights is way too much to pay for this dump!

Disgusting! Extra late check in due to "no staff!" Staff at check in is very rude! If you have questions they refuse to answer. Your told to read the sheet in the room! Well the sheet in the room says to not smoke weed or do crack in your room but to take it to the beach!! What?? Bugs constantly on the floor, furniture is dirty, bathroom is disgusting, stains all over bedding. Entry door you basically have to body slam it to get it to open and bathroom door won't shut. Been here a few days and the pool hasn't been cleaned once. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. I'm not a hard person to please but this place is gross! Doesn't even deserve a "1" rating.

AWFUL So. Many. BUGS! The owners tried to give us only 1 nights free, but after the wonderful maintenance man came back, he said the owner would give us a full refund. We tried to look for a new roon, but with it being Memorial Day weekend nothing was available. We dealt with it, very unhappily, but will NEVER return. The owner never talked to us personally. The maintenance man even admitted that bugs were an issue!! WHAT! I believe the positive reviews are friends of the owners. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!

Pet friendly (no cats) Pet friendly, easy access to beach, clean, two floor motel. I had an ocean front efficiency room. I recommend getting a room on the second floor. Pet fee is very reasonable--$10 per per. The blanket/bed cover was thin. Bed very comfortable. I chose this place because I didn't want to put the dog in a high-rise hotel and have to use an elevator.
