Roach City _ Stay here last weekend 8/12/24 and this place is infested with German roaches!! _ The first night we only saw 2 but the next night roaches was crawling everywhere so we left in middle of night with my grandbaby and dog to find another room! They would only give a partial refund, would not refund 1st night or pet fee!! Bought roaches back home with me and had to call a bug man to my house! It took manager 3 days after I got back home to call me and he was as nasty as the rooms and said he would not refund all my money! He has a Charlotte number 1 980 200 2822! Water park was broken and look like it had been for years, we had no cable, no internet and elevator was broken and roaches all over our room!

Terrible DO NoT waste your money I lost have of my mine. Walked in and got checked in went to the room was terrible stains all over the couch and bed. Looked like someone just checked out and hasn’t been cleaned. Let’s not forget about the water park hasn’t worked in four years per the management there. Online never says anything about the water park not working! I get offered another room just NO smelled horrible! Looks nothing like pictures.complaining did absolutely no good. Two people behind me were having the same issue. This place needs major updating and pictures have to be from years ago. You would die looking at pictures online vs what it looks like in person.

Outdated 1. Website says it's Pet Friendly, and has a $75 pet fee. Upon arrival they told me it's NOT pet friendly and if anyone asks to say I have a service animal. The Pet Policy page on their website is down. Tried calling & e-mailing ahead of time with no response. 2. Lack of employment at the front desk during busy times. One worker is trying to manage the desk and phones, so phones just don't get answered. Lobby was gross, smelled musty, damp and the carpet was not only covered in staines but littered with garbage on the floor like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. 3. No parking. They direct you down the street to your building and even though there is a parking garage and a few street spots, they were all completely full. Leaving us to park back up at registration and walk down with all our luggage, dog and baby. Super inconvenient. 4. Room was mediocre, sand on the floors and sheets. Bathroom was missing bath towels, when I called down to the desk for some they said they were too busy and I'd be better off coming to get them myself. Mind you, the registration office is a walk up the street, not just right downstairs. 5. We booked a balcony room and the balcony door didn’t open at all. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but no answer so I gave up. 6. All of the pools were closed except one. So they had one pool open for like 4 buildings. The rest of them were lime green, hadn’t been drained, cleaned or maintained in god knows how long. It was disgusting. The water park also isn’t open, with no warning ahead of time, there wasn’t anything on the website or when booking. Both the pools and the water park are beyond outdated, paint chipping and peeling everywhere. 7. Overall, the entire property is very very outdated and in poor condition. The closure of the pools and water park were really disappointing but the location/proximity to the beach was great.

Never will I go there again!!!! I wouldn’t stay here again!!! For one when we first got there it took us 10 min to find the room. Was told we couldn’t use the pools, there was a bug in our toaster, the refrigerator half worked, couldn’t pick up Wi-Fi, tried to call and no answer. The front desk number they put on the slip of the paper for the wi fi was out of service and when I called the number online no one answered. And even more disgusting the people in the room beside us had blood on their shower curtain. Also you can tell that they don’t sweep very well at all. There was trash on the floor in the bathroom!! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!!!

Simply Horrible! Travelers beware! None of the pictures or what is portrayed on the website is true. The resort and everything around it is deplorable. Under any other standard, the health department will be shutting this place down. Please don’t subject yourself to this experience.
