9th year Folks, be patient. Everywhere is short staffed and people are doing their best. We had some hiccups (splash cove only partially operating, no towel exchange (please give more laundry detergent without a charge), no tubes, etc but really after covid- to my family these were just bumps in the road. We read reviews ahead of time and packed accordingly. We really missed vacation kick off but understand covid has totally altered life and the availability of workers. We missed other activities (movies by the pool, wii dance offs, etc). Still - not the staff or the properties fault. In the end, the staff was excellent and worked with my family and our specific needs. We are an autism family and need an accessible unit close to the pool and for NINE years they have honored this request. My only two complaints are we are used to arriving very very late and being able to use 24 hour grocery stores and everything closes at 12. When I mentioned this to front desk she told me where the 24 hour cvs was. Thank you :) Secondly, maintenance should NEVER park in handicapped parking. That’s rude and causes issues for families like mine. Photos to show enough living space for a pop up tent and giant fitness/sensory balls, parks to play at, smoothies served pool side, etc. Pro tip: bring your own garbage cans. “flingz” or on Amazon “portable garbage bag holder” We invested in pop up cans to travel with. With a family of 5, tiny waste baskets are not at all helpful.

Major Disappointment We have been owners here for over 20 years & regrettably after 3 owners it has only gotten worse. This year we were really looking forward to a vacation since we canceled last year because of COVID. Well this year we were there to check in (which was supposed to be 4pm) but our room wasn’t available until 5:30. If you go on vacation there are certain amenities that you expect. In the past there was always a pool towel exchange not so anymore, they supply you with towels & you have to wash them yourself. Speaking of towels the midweek exchange for the villa is also terminated. The grounds were a major disappointment, the pool deck was never hosed down like it previously was every morning, trash was not picked up on a regular basis and the furniture left a bit to be desired. I realize that help is hard to find but my annual fee has not gone down & I’m sure it will go up again. Salaries are generally the biggest item in a budget & im sure they are well under budget due to not filling positions, savings for cutting other programs etc but that will not be passed on to the owners. All I heard was that in 2024 (no typo) that they have a major upgrade in store. Through 3 different owners the promises I have heard are many & what comes to fruition is minimal. I think that management needs to take a serious look at how things are being run & that being said I cannot in good conscience recommend this as a place I would want to stay.

Not what I expected I experienced a few hiccups when we initially arrived. There was a strong mildew oder in our first room. I called and they immediately moved us. Once moved to the second room, there were soiled sheets. They responded, but still disappointing.

Great stay We had an awesome time. Close to all sorts of restaurants and to the beach. The hotel room was great and having a washer dryer was helpful after many trip to the beach. The pool was not too crowded with lots of places to sit and 3 pools to choose from. Bring your own float for the lazy river. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay!! I rely heavily on reviews when planning trips. We booked this resort last minute after another chain messed up our reservation. Reading several reviews l was hesitant to stay at this resort, but we had a terrific experience. We stayed in building 14 which is right across from the pool and other amenities. The splash cove was open during our stay. We did purchase tubes for the lazy river. I suggest bringing them with you as many of the souvenir shops have run out since the hotels are not providing. Our room was a king bedroom with balcony and sofa bed. The room was clean and we didn’t see any roaches or other bugs in our room. We brought an air mattress in case one of our boys didn’t want to share the sofa bed and there was plenty of room to set it up next to sofa. The resort provided beach towels which were in our room when we arrived, a nice surprise as l thought the resort was not proving based on other reviews. All of the staff we encountered were very nice and we saw daily maintenance of the common areas. My only suggestion would be to have to pool bar open later than 6 pm. Perhaps the hours were shortened because of the pandemic, l don’t know but they would definitely have the clientele after 6 pm, especially since the pools close at 11 pm. I would definitely stay here again.
