Island Vista Resort

Storm cancelation Right now, I am giving a very poor review. I will change this if things change I booked this resort unfortunately the three days I will be there is right during the hurricane of course this came up within the two week window of cancellation. I called with my concern and they told me, they would hold my deposit for a year and as long as I came back, they would use it toward my stay. Today I was told today nothing can be done at this time but they have pushed it up to operational management. Hopefully customer service does the right thing and add in customer service. I do not understand why it resort would rather keep $400 and lose somebody from staying there ever again who would book again and let them tell all their family and friends and social media outlets everywhere this experience. I realize it’s a business. I’m not asking for anything in return. I’m just asking for credit because the two days I’m there is going to be 30 mile an hour winds and pouring rain that is not a beach vacation. I’m hoping I can write a review that they took care of this, but I am still waiting.

Another great vacay We had a fabulous time at the Island Vista. It all started with the our check in. Deana was fantastic and had all of our concerns and questions covered with an award winning smile. All the staff were overwhelming accommodating. This is our second trip to the Island Vista. Our condo offered all the amenities as our home so we were extremely comfortable. We had one meal at the restaurant and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. Our waiter, Brooks, was very attentive to our needs. My granddaughters loved the pool and beach experience and it was so convenient and worry free for us to let them explore. Overall, we will be making the Island Vista resort our Myrtle Beach destination for years to come.

Next Level Resort for Our Group We had a group of over 60 folks spend a week at Island Vista. From the reservations and communication for a group, to the week of staying there, it was such an easy task. This was the best experience at a hotel we have had with our group since we started going to Myrtle Beach. 4 bedroom condos are spacious. No trouble with check in and helpful staff. Immediately, we called and reserved our rooms for next year. This is a next level resort.

A++++ Very family oriented! Everything exceeded our expectations. Our room was so clean as if brand new. Mattresses were the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Only a few steps from the grounds and you are on the beach. Loved the rocking chairs and fire pits outside. Food in the restraunt was very good. We were surprised that a resort credit via card was given to us to enjoy at the resort upon check-in. We used it for breakfast. Also enjoyed dining out on the patio for breakfast while watching the sun come up and ocean waves.

The Place to Be! This place is awesome. We stayed here 5 nights. Our room was very clean, and the beds were like sleeping in heaven. The room was stocked with everything needed. The furniture was comfortable and clean. The employees were friendly. I was given a gift card of $123 to eat at the on-site restaurant. My kids enjoyed the pools and lazy river. The tiki bar had some really delicious nachos and drinks. I'm in love with this place. Oh, we had rocking chairs on the balcony. The hotel is very clean and smells nice. They provide fruit infused water in the lobby that is refreshing coming in from the heat. The only con that comes to mind is the location of one ice machine. I recommend this resort to everyone!
