Perfectly Acceptable Accommodations Rooms are fine, clean. Our pillows were very soft. Hotel personnel very friendly. Good location, and easy to take a back road to Stonington if you use Google Maps . No in-room coffee maker, no microwave. Coffee/tea available 24 hours. We could not get the fan to stay on all night. Window not able to be opened. We stayed one night on 2nd floor. Stairway did not appear to have climate control. It should be added. All doors facing the nice green yard were emergency exits and not able to be opened. Would have been nice on a perfect fall day to get some fresh air in the stairwell. Walls and doors are not soundproof. If you're staying mid-week, that's probably OK, as there didn't seem to be any commotion. Breakfast was cereal, bagels, juice, coffee, packaged muffins. Could not escape the TVs in the breakfast area, or adjust volume. Saved $40 + taxes over the Hampton next door.

Great value - clean and friendly staff. Overall, hotel was clean and the rooms looked refreshed. Front desk personnel were extremely professional and friendly. Provided excellent recommendations for dinner and offered us bottled water since their water dispenser was broken. Breakfast was very good and a nice selection for a budget hotel.

No Spark.. Lacking the spark. It was decent. The location is OK, not walking distance to Mystic Village but a very quick drive. We mainly came for the Mystic Aquarium so it worked for us. The rooms are very basic, small bathroom. Everything seemed clean. The decor of the hotel is very mediocre and small reception with hallways looking like it would benefit from more remodeling and air fresheners. Our kids liked the pool, I however didn’t enjoyed the heated pool while baking under August heat. I’m sure it feels a lot better when it’s much cooler out. I would consider this still as Days Inn as it just doesn’t make the Hilton cut but if you’re looking for a quick trip and not spend a lot per night, it works out well.

It was OK The room was OK; nothing too special. Obviously, it’s summer, but thought it was overpriced. We had to have a ground floor room because the elevator was not working. The location was not walkable to town, but fairly close. There was free parking available.

Not much Spark here This former Days Inn hotel was given a quick renovation and is now a low class "Hilton" branded hotel. Forget about using their one elevator as it has been broken for at least three months now. I guess their renovation budget didn't include a new elevator as other hotels would do. And their "full" breakfast is just bagels and coffee. Not much "spark" in this place for me.
