Shame on Vino Bello! Shame on Wyndham!! We were a large family group that travelled to Napa to celebrate a special event over the 4th of July weekend. We flew in from around the country. The fact that the property, (I just can't call it a resort) was rundown stood out to us immediately. Our check in was painful, as the front desk was in a hurry to take our money and get us over to the ridiculously pushy TIMESHARE desk to be pitched to by a kid about a free breakfast and just a few hours of our time. I personally waited several hours because early check in was not available though requested months prior, we had been up since 3:30am to catch a flight and had to wait for 4 hours to get a 2 bedroom condo. I told the young lady mid pitch, I was not interested and walked away. For the 3 days that we were there I got a call daily about going to a presentation, very tacky, car salesman behavior. The last call, I advised if they didn't stop the harassment I would file a complaint with the BBB. The horror of this place, the nerve of WYNDHAM being in a business that uses such tactics! I watched them do it to an elderly couple to the point that my sister walked with them to explain what the presentation with free breakfast actually was. The rates were of course higher due to the pandemic and the holiday but we certainly didn't get what we paid for. They tried very hard to limit when and who could use the pools, yet we a daily access fee added on to our bill, when I asked what that covered...I was told the use of the facilities (pool, hot tubs) water in room and maintenance . When we asked for someone to bring towels and remove our trash , we cooked they refused and said cleaning was only provided if you stayed 5 days or more, we were not told that beforehand. We never asked them to clean, we did that, we just had nowhere for our trash to go. Incredibly bad customer service all around except for the wine tasting ...the whole place was a huge disappointment and I will for sure email management as there are far too many mishaps and poor treatment to include here. Avoid this place and avoid Wyndham.

Loved it, would return, but would bring a noise-canceling sound machine next time. We were in the Merlot building, adjacent to the Chardonnay and the Cabernet buildings. They gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and two complimentary bottles of water. Although we had booked a studio we were assigned a one-bedroom accommodation — an upgrade! The unit itself was spacious and beautifully furnished — much better than average in terms of quality. The bedroom had a large soaking tub off to one side and an oversized shower in the bathroom with four “wall sprays” in addition to the overhead fixture. Although we did not use or partake in any of Vino Bello Resort’s amenities or activities, we noted that guests have full access to the Meritage Resort and Spa next door. While we prefer to shop for groceries and dine in when we have a full kitchen, the Fivetown Grocery located in the Vista Collina Resort across the street filled in a few times for snacks, beverages, etc. The only negative I’ll note here is that the walls between units aren’t well sound-proofed — during the night we were awakened by the sound of snoring from the bedroom in the unit adjacent to ours. The thermostat didn’t allow for just a fan to mask the noise, so we had to turn the AC down as far as it could go.

Location is great but there is a lot of deferred maintenance I'll start with the positives. The location is great, just a few miles to downtown Napa. The pools and food onsite are nice as well. The rooms are spacious and well-stocked. It was great to be able to share amenities with the Meritage resort next door. The vineyard on property was really cool, and it was a great spot for relaxing. We also enjoyed the firepit and patio with grills. Now for the issues. The room we got was, in the words of my 15-year-old, janky. The dishwasher did not drain, and by the third day, it smelled really bad. We didn't notice that was the source of the smell until we went to load the dishwasher before checkout, or we would have reported it sooner. The garbage disposal was clogged when we checked in, and my husband had to unclog it. The bar in the studio closet was on an angle due to a missing screw. The bathroom had a big spackle spot on the wall. One of the towel hooks was missing the hook. The kitchen drawers stuck. The dresser drawer had a knob that was completely stripped, so it kept falling off. There was broken glass on our private walkway to the pool. The bathroom door didn't lock. The furniture in the living room was in rough shape. Overall, just lots of deferred maintenance. Most of these things would be quick and easy fixes, so I'm not sure what the issue was. We checked in later at night, so I'm wondering if we may have gotten a room that wasn't usually in use. It definitely needs some TLC. Overall, I'd be willing to give them another chance and just hope I got a better unit.

Special occasion anniversary We have stayed at this resort in the past. The bed was comfortable the room was clean. Unfortunately this resort has really gone downhill in a big way. Really sad. The bed in our room was hard as a rock there was gravel in front of the dresser there was old moldy bread in the cupboard that they made it neglected to remove but the worst part is that there was mold in the showers see pictures we have Added. Despite our complaint they neglected to move us to another room and they left us in this filthy room for entire stay. I am extremely disappointed I will have to contact Shell about the situation we use points to stay here and it is simply unacceptable and ridiculous. We are business owners and I would never ask my guess to except And experience that is,so bad. I have left out some details that made our stay ridiculously unacceptable it’s just too much to state at this time.

First visit to Napa We stayed at your resort in June 2021 with another couple...from the time we checked into the resort until check out we had a wonderful stay...all employees were very personable and helpful. Loved our 1 bedroom condo....very large. The complimentary bottle of wine in the room was very good. Went to 5 different wineries...toured Calistoga, Sonoma and Napa. We will be definitely coming back to this resort when we return to Napa.
