Something Special The LaPlaya is wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, but it’s the employees that really made it special. It’s all about the experience, and Diane Markelon the concierge was outstanding in her helpfulness and making every day feel special. Nickolis at the front desk also was wonderful and helped to make us feel amazing, as well as Sam Grant on the beach who was so welcoming. You are very lucky to have such phenomenal employees. Thanks for the great time. We will be back soon.

70th Birthday two week beach _️ _️ vacation Great resort - Great Food - Great service ! We celebrated my 70th Birthday for two 2️⃣ weeks and were just amazed - definitely a fantasy experience with flawless beach _️ _️ and gulf ocean _ Our concierge - Diane Markelon - was just amazing! So helpful and nice with all of her suggestions for activities and restaurants. These restaurants we did not even know about nor would we have found - she is fantastic, such a treasure and special person for your resort. She was able to secure reservations for restaurants that we could not get into and she did it with finesse :). Thank you Diane and LaPlaya ! Kim and Terry L Krick

Great experience! Lovely time with family. Great service. Resort was very well serviced and taken care of, we had an amazing time. Service at the beach by Tamor was amazing. We got lucky to have great weather. The kids loved the pool. We will be back next year!!!

Sam is the best! Sam is the most attentive and awesome beach waiter. She is always so personable and fun while chatting and taking orders. Always delivering quickly and with a smile!_ we always make sure we are in her section on the beach! Looking forward to our next trip to laplaya to see Sam!

Wonderful experience! Sam is the most friendly and hospitable and has made our time here every time we come extremely enjoyable and memorable. She’s a gem and has made our membership at Laplaya so fantastic! We love the staff and the beach here and couldn’t recommend it more.
