Naples Bay Resort & Marina

Arrived to find cold swimming pools This could have been a lovely stay: the cottage we had was beautiful and spacious (for 2 adults, 2 under-10s), the staff were friendly, and the site was pleasant. But we booked here for the pool facilities and they were hopeless. We arrived to be informed that one of the pools was closed and, much more importantly, that the heating was broken in the remaining pools (There was one very small heated pool on a different site). This made them nearly unusable. Notices proclaimed that the staff were working “diligently” to sort it out but staff were uniformly vague about the timing and needless to say nothing was sorted out over our 7-day stay. The impression we had was that this was a longish-term issue, possibly even a renovation issue, though no-one would be clear with us. On the third time of asking they offered to refund our resort fee, which was a nice gesture (though we’ll wait to see if it actually happens!), but not really adequate - if we had been informed in advance and offered the chance to cancel and book elsewhere we’d certainly have done so. One of the two on-site restaurants was also closed, clearly for renovations (again we weren’t informed in advance) and though the website said it would re-open in ‘fall 2024’ (this was November) the on-site staff said it would not reopen until at least New Year. Overall, a deeply disappointing experience with an incompetent and/or untrustworthy hotel; definitely would not stay again. A pity: could have been lovely.

Top quality located Resort Excellently located Resort with top quality services, amenities and very helpful staff. Overlooking the Resort's Marina from our balcony was a real treat. Close to 5th Avenue which was easily walkable but the Resort Shuttle was always there if required. I would have no hesitation recommending this destination

You wanna feel special..... Go to Naples Bay Resort & Marina! Girls trip 2024 - The staff is so attentive and the accommodations outstanding. The Resort has it all. We'll be back. Special shout out to Hope, Nicole, Sig, Jerry and Eric. However our premier staff member Jennifer orchestrated our trip in it's entirety _ _ _. We love you Jennifer!

Spend your money elsewhere Receptionist can barely speak English, porter had to step in to assist with our questions. Charged automatically for a tip when they confirmed I had signed for no tip (appalling service at pool). We were promised would be removed and come home to find it hasn’t and they have responded it will not. The pool is either a buggy ride away (tipping required) or walk a good 10 mins with all your change of clothes across a dual carriageway to the residents area whom the pool belongs to. Construction meant only teeny (what they call lap pool) was open and part of another pool however that backed on to the construction so debris and noise removes from any ambience/ enjoyment. We were not made aware of any planned works, nor that there would be no where open to eat dinner. They are happy to take your money but no customer service and think they are above you.

Excellent location, staff, and more! We stayed here for our quality sleep and relaxing time together away from where our Wedding events were being held. The Valet team were excellent and brought all of our items to the room in an organized and careful manner. This was important given the wedding items and all. The room had an excellent balcony and view of the waterway that faced sunrise. The sunrise didn’t bother us since the Building One is tall and blocked out the first bit of sunrise. The blackout curtains or drapes were solid too. We loved our kitchen in the unit to make our own coffee and snacks along with storing wedding gifts like bottles of wine. Having a large fridge and freezer came in handy. Having a separate tub in one bathroom and a shower in the other bathroom was nice too, so we could get ready at the same time. The Front Desk staff were great and had our backs no matter what request we had. Hope understood the importance of our stay and everyone was authentic and came from diverse backgrounds. Over at the Pool and Spa area I met Gail. She was a treat to meet and talk to. She has a lot of experience and a genuine person which is refreshing nowadays. There is shuttle service at the top of the hour from the resort to downtown Naples. Please use this perk. Just be sure to let the front desk know early as there is limited capacity and you may have to wait for the next hour to go. The distance from the hotel to the Spa/Pool is a long walk but the hotel has the golf cart service for you if you wish to catch a ride to and from. Please use this perk as well. The resources are there for an amazing stay.
