Naples Convention The Ritz Carlton We have been going to this Ritz Carlton annually for over 20 years. It is a very friendly family upscale hotel, wedding destination and convention hotel. The staff is always on point with the best service from every employee. If you can book a room on the concirge level, it is open all day for wine, beer, water and soda. Cocktails, cognac’s, champagne, breakfast, finger foods, heavy appetizers, desserts are open at various hours throughout the day and evening. There are so many great restaurants nearby. Our newest favorite is The Bay House. It is tucked away from the main streets. Our waiter told us that not even all the locals know about it. RC concirge said this is their number one pick. It truly was outstanding. Other restaurants we love are Blue Provence, Trulucks and The Turtle Club which is a short walk from the Ritz Carlton. Reservations are a must for all restaurants. This summer was perfect as there was a very nice breeze on the beach which is not usually the case in August! Gumbo Limbo serves great food and drinks that can also be ordered from the beach. This is very popular for watching the sunset so arrive early. Coolers are allowed on the beach as well as by the pool. Beach staff set up umbrellas for you.poolside and the beach. The Spa is very nice. My only complaint is that there is not a place where men and women can relax together except for is the spa pool (which can be very hot in the summer) the boutique or at the small restaurant. Any spa purchase gives you access to spa for the day. There is also very nice gym. When checking in, have them show you your room location on their hotel map. One wing is next to a city garage. You can see the gulf past it, but avoid those rooms for a better view if possible! (The photo was from balcony during sunset with lightning_)

Love it here! We just ended our 6 day stay in Naples. We originally booked our stay at another resort which did not meet our expectations. We showed up here frustrated and panicking about what we were going to do and was greeted by Joe at the front desk who handed us a glass of Champagne and told us not to worry he would make sure we are taken care of. We got a oceanfront room and loved every minute of our stay! From the amazing valets (shout out to Daniel and Richard, thanks for taking care of us!!) and doormen, to the waitstaff, front desk employees, beach attendants..everyone we met was so friendly. The lobby was beautiful and smelled so fresh, loved the evening entertainment. The rooms were clean, thanks to the 7th floor cleaning ladies, who even paid attention that i used the blue nepresso pods and left me a couple extra each day. We loved getting to use both resorts and the ease of the shuttle (took advantage of it one day when the car was being used). The pool servers at the golf resort were awesome! Loved our meal at dusk and cannot believe it isn’t ranked higher on TripAdvisor. We cannot wait for the renovations to be finished. However the Ritz has set the bar high for Naples and we couldn’t be happier with our stay and are already planning our return trip!

Mold in room, loud construction as of July 2021 First off, the positives. You're at the Ritz Carlton, so exemplary service is expected. Service from the moment the valet opened our car doors to the front desk personnel, beach attendant, and so forth was excellent. The beach was beautiful, and the dining on property was good. The bad. The construction noise is LOUD once you get off the elevators to get to your room! You literally feel the vibrations of jack hammers from construction. The room was spacious, but it felt damp. Sure enough, there was black mold on the ceiling. This property should not be charging $1000 per night for these kinds of rooms and construction conditions! I did receive a 25% discount on my room rate due to the mold, but I should've received more as I had the worst cold and sore throat as soon as I got home. Stay away from this resort while they're doing construction!

All the good vibes! My husband and I had an amazing experience staying here. We were impressed with the staff, from the valet, to the main desk, to the housekeeping and the restaurant staff there was not one person who wasn’t extremely kind and helpful. They have customer service in a hotel down pat and I wish other hotels could learn from them. I am 8 months pregnant and was treated with extra care from check in to check out and was even given a baby onesie as a present from a hotel worker. It truly was above and beyond sweet of them. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with a good energy all around. The beach is beautiful and perfect for a fun day. The hotel pool is under construction right now, yes a bummer but will be back to enjoy it once it’s finished. Overall I give them my highest praise and really recommend staying here!

Great service, horrible noise and fumes from construction, high drinks, blah food, and beautiful beach The construction is bad. What they don't tell you is that it is literally at the pool. The construction is loud, stinky (my husband got a headache) and you hear this noise all day long. So if you love the pool like I do don't come here and definitely not worth the price--at least not now (maybe after construction is over). Room was ok. It was clean, except for the underwear that someone left behind--not kidding someone left draws in the bathroom in one of the little cubbies. The room didn't smell that great, but they freshened it up.. It looked really clean though. Food is expensive as hell and not good. We paid $90 for $45 meal (1 Miami Vice, 1 vodka tonic, a quesadilla--which was gross--and a southwest salad with chicken--that was pland. Thaf's it folks! 90 bucks and it sucks. Beach is beautiful, chill and the highlight. You can order drinks there but not food. Ample chairs and umbrellas for everyone! Service at the hotel was good, super responsive, like they raced to the room. NO ONE wears masks. I had to ask a housekeeper to put on his mask before coming to my room. Sooooo...if you care about that like I do, this is not the hotel for you. So, this gets a 3 because of the construction AT THE ONLY Pool, the smell of the room (oh and the panties in the room) and the unreasonably high food and drinks. What saved it from a 2 was the beach and the quick service. Oh wait...one more thing: When I checked in as a Marriott rewards member, I asked for an upgrade. Didn't get it despite the fact that there was inventory. How do I know there was inventory? I checked my Marriott app just before and right after checked in. Hope this helps you!
