Convenient Other than convenient to the Block Island ferry not to much on positive side. We were there just one night as we had an early ferry reservation. Staff was very friendly upon checkin. Hotel is old and run down. Room was fairly clean but definitely musty smell through out the entire building. Review will be on short side as I received an email earlier this month regarding a reservation for our August 2018 stay. They had to cancel it as they will not be opening this season.

Not good. Do your research. Lesson learnt. Visiting from Australia and Booked this place on the web without checking reviews. The website is not representative of the accommodation. The rooms are tired and old. No coffee or tea making available Smell from fish market and seagull droppings everywhere. Not good. Not value for money. Only plus close to wharf for block island ferries.

fair place to stay The hotel is not terrible as some would write! I have stayed there two times now and both times have been very nice. Yes its not a 5 or even a 4 star hotel but the rooms are are clean and the beds are the most comfortable that i have slept on in a long time! Seriously! The staff is friendly and they have always in my experiences been very attentive. The property is a little dated but safe and super close to fishing charters and the Block Island ferry! The property has a lot of character. It's also very affordable too!!!

Stay Away We planned a last minute getaway in Narragansett and the Lighthouse Inn was the only place with available rooms. We paid $200 for 1 night and spent the first 20-30 minutes wiping everything down with Lysol wipes, cleaning cob webs and killing spiders. There was not enough water pressure in the sink to wash our hands, we used the bathtub to do that. The only dresser was broken and there was no closet. They didn't provide the basics like a hair dryer, iron or coffee pot. The sheets and towels did appear and smell clean but the bed spread smelled horrible. This is a large building in a very quaint location and has so much potential but as of now it is outdated, dirty and run down. There was a no refund policy on our booking so we did stay our one night but checked out very early.

Family vacation Awful! The place is disgusting.. the rugs, beds, walls, windows, bathroom are all dirty and not maintained at all! Don't waste your money! The room is dirty and the entire place is worn down. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!! Save yourself a trip and never stay here.
