Collectors Show I stayed here for a political collectors show that was in town. The hotel is very grand in general and the convention spaces were beautiful and clean. However there were several issues at this hotel that need to be addressed. The first being that there was a hole in my bedsheet and a rust stain on one of the pillows. This was disappointing. In addition to this there was water leaking by the elevators on the fourth floor. These things ruined the hotel somewhat and I would give them a second chance because there were parts of the hotel that were lovely.

Collectors show stay - I spent four nights here as part of a national convention of people who save political memorabilia. I found the room assigned to me to be clean and modern. The common areas also looked good. And the convention and meeting facilities were spacious. The group had a dinner in the ballroom one night which was efficiently run. The food was good although there were no options offered other than the chicken. The one complaint I had was with the restaurant area that Friday night. Shortly after I sat down for what I thought would be a meal in a quiet spot, a lady showed up with a guitar and microphone to announce that she would be perforning for two hours. I know that Nashville is Music City, but I do not think that the crowd consisting mostly of attenees at our show really wanted to hear her. Most just wanted to chat or watch the Olympics on the big screen. I asked to be moved outside. Looking at prior reviews on this site apparently at one time there was a non-hotel shuttle service to downtown. Maybe that was nixed due to Covid, but I would recommend that the hotel get that back when it is possible, because without a car guests are kind of stuck at this isolated airport business park area with no commercial activity within walking distance. Overall this is one of the better hotels I've stayed at.

One day into a 5-day stay The air conditioning is excellent. No wastebasket in the room. None delivered 24 hours into our stay. We're throwing garbage on the bathroom floor. Shower has no water pressure because the tub spigot won't turn off. 10:30 in the morning and no coffee to be had anywhere on site. Lovely, not.

Sheraton Music City = nonexistent customer service + not up to Marriott standards We stayed at the Sheraton Music City hotel this week on a mother daughter overnight staycation for my 8 year old daughter’s birthday. The hotel lobby is lovely and my daughter enjoyed the pool and outdoor courtyard. I’m thankful my daughter had a good time because unfortunately my experience with all other aspects of the hotel was not good. We arrived at check in time (at 3pm) and waited in a very long line only to be told that there were no rooms available and they didn’t know when one would be. After 45 minutes with a very very excited birthday girl I waited in another long line to see if there were rooms ready only to be told there were still none ready. We were not apologized to for the the inconvenience, nor were drink or breakfast coupons offered as an apology. After ANOTHER 30 minutes and ANOTHER long line, someone was able to finally get us into a room (that had 3 towels but no hand towels or wash clothes or even coffee.) We tried to shake off our bad check in experience. The worst came after check out, when I realized I had left my swimsuit and coverup hanging on the bathroom door. I tried calling the hotel that same day and was never able to get through to a person, I also tried messaging the hotel in the Bonvoy app and received no response. My husband who has bonvoy gold elite status was finally able to get through to someone on the phone today who said they were unable to talk to the person on staff who knew where lost and found was, they recommended him coming in person to talk to someone. We are local so he was able to do that (although for many other travelers that is not the case) he went and waited in the lobby for over 30 minutes to talk to someone and they said the head of housekeeping was out. Unfortunately since then they did let us know they have been unable to locate my items, which didn’t surprise me after everything else we experienced during our stay. I realize I’m this post-covid world many places are understaffed and that makes it hard to do business. However, when we are paying money for service and the Marriott name, even an apology would have gone a long way to have made our stay better. There are definitely better places to stay in Nashville and I would think twice about going to Sheraton Music City again.

Nashville Trip- June 19-20 2021 Was a little disappointed when we got to our room it wasn't completely cleaned. Reached out to hotel staff and the issue was corrected. Then was given some credit for the issues. Overall it was a really nice room and very comfortable bed. Definitely a nice location and close to many things in Nashville.
