Great for Family and Learning I stayed at the lodge on multiple residencies for my masters degree and I loved every minute of it. The food was divine, the staff approachable, and i always get a massage when I go. Now that I am done with my masters degree i will be going back for family pleasure to enjoy their tree top fun area.

Exceptional - Really Gorgeous settings, cool lobby, excellent restaurant, comfortable room. Here’s the deal. Don’t overpay for the vaulted ceilings or patio rooms - do a King Orchard View or double Queen parking lot view. The money you save can be applied towards dinner in the Library. Our room was lovely overlooking the orchard, great TV to watch the Bucks defeat the Suns, super quiet, windows opened so we could listen to the birds, nice short hikes to mansion, tree houses and walks through the woods. Water park a block away with outdoor pool and slides. French toast at breakfast was terrific. Honestly, great place to stay. We checked in, then immediately added another night. Definitely will return. They have indoor pool but outside was better.

Lied Lodge exceeds expectations Beautiful property and very peaceful for a weekend getaway! We enjoyed a fabulous meal in Timber’s Restaurant and were impressed with the menu. We started with the Bavarian pretzel appetizer, it was excellent with the best beer cheese dip I’ve ever had. The seared scallop & grilled shrimp dish was wonderful. My husband spoke highly of the Porterhouse pork steaks and Polenta dish that he ordered. We love the Olympic size pool as well. We will definitely return!

Not the best choice for big families. The hotel assured me when I booked we would get two joined rooms, which we didn't. They also added a bunch of pending charges to my bank account and were dismissive when I called. Restaurant is overpriced.

1-night getaway We needed to get away from the kids, so I booked 1 night here. It did not disappoint! The hotel room was lovely. The pool is pretty big for a hotel pool and the hot tub was really nice. We loved walking along the trails that start on the grounds. I booked the spa package, which included breakfast at Timbers. The massages were awesome. We even received complimentary late checkout since there was limited availability for the massages. Breakfast was delicious!
