1st Impression was Horrible The experience was horrible from booking to checking out. We were quoted one price during booking and when we arrived, extra charges were added. We tried to cancel but was told their would be a $300 fee. We did not get our room until after 4, by then no restaurant reservation was open. Room were not clean it had dirty linen and the worse was the roaches in the dinning room area. Pools close at 6 and there was not much activity for you to do. Some staff members were exceptionally accommodating but somewhere also prejudice and showed that maybe because we were locals. That was the biggest turn off for myself and my children who were visiting the island. I would never go back there.

Don’t waste your money Do not waste you money the service is shocking , stayed from the 1st till the 12 writing this on day six. The reception do not serve its purpose the lady in the swim up pool tami ann is rude, I asked for a full cup of rum cream she said no as It Has to be shared. Baring in mind me and to of my friends paid 2k each. Maybe they should have enough to serve the amount of people that have paid for an all inclusive stay go to Oichi the derive is much better!!!! House keeper are amazing but there’s never enough towels have to wait 2hours! First room we checked in to the toilet didn’t flush had to take two trips to the lobby in order to use the toilet after waiting 2 1/2 hours we were finally changed the room. Just pick another hotel dnt waste you money or time !! Mini bar is a joke one seen them one in six days. Dnt spend your money coming to this resort.

Great experience Our first time at Riu Negril and it was great. The air conditioning didn’t work very well and thats the only thing we complained about. We would stay at negril again in the future. We did not enjoy the entertainment because it really didn’t represent Jamaica. I do understand that the entertainment must cater for all but its Jamaica. We go to Jamaica for the Jamaican culture and experience.

Amazing service I stayed for a week during dream weekend and Ingrid was our server for one of the nights and was amazingly hospitable. She gave us amazing service checking we were okay throughout. Definitely made my experience a memorable one and one I will never forget.

Best place so far This was a great vacation! Wonderful resort friendly and very helpful staff, which we found made other guests also friendly. Great selection of food and drinks.
