It could have been better. A few things didn't go right with our stay here. Some of the outlets in the room didn't work. We tried to call the desk to get it fixed but the phone was also broken. The main problem was the room above sounded like a non stop dance party. I am sure it was just like a big man and like 4-5 kids but it was constant starting at like 7am-10am. Then again at night. My wife called the front desk from her cell phone with no outcome. Also, the location was nice since it was on the river but it wasn't walking distance from anything. In hindsight, it would have been better to be closer in town near all the activities. My son liked the pool area. I wouldn't stay here again with so many options.

Excellent and safe stay for our first time our during pandemic We moved from a view of the parking lot to a view of the pool/river for some more money, but it was totally worth it. THe view is breathtaking! This place has river access, a great pool and even a mini beach!!! My family enjoyed themselves. It was even a good time just sitting on our balcony enjoying the view. We took advantage of the lower rates during the pandemic, not sure if we can afford going back with normal rates, ,but glad to have enjoyed while we could!

My favorite place to stay in New Braunfels I love the view of this property. We could see the serene Guadalupe River from our room. I love the details they put into the property to make it a family get away spot. Everything from a pool/hot tub to plenty of green space for kids to run, play volleyball or horse shoes. There are about a dozen picnic tables set up along the River, making for a great place to have lunch etc. While not a resort hotel it’s definitely a setup from your average courtyard Marriott. Rooms are standard courtyard Marriott.

Kinda disappointed I looked for a deal on this hotel for an entire day to experience this place. It was hard to find! Exit 188 off the frontage road almost to 189. It says Courtyard Marriott on the hotel with a big Texas flag in front. It’s right off the highway so you can hear that roar everywhere. The quietest rooms are possibly overlooking the vacant property. The hot tub was cloudy, smelled rancid and the jets didn’t work. Even late at nite there was tons of loud music playing, forget relaxing outside. No cook that nite so only pizza offered. It is pretty inside most everywhere. They have all kinds of cold desserts and drinks to buy and Netflix accessibility. Nice heater/ac, large bathrooms.

So disappointed We spent the last few nights at this Courtyard and we were surprised to be disappointed with the property. We've stayed at dozens of Courtyards over the years and have never been unhappy with the experience. We specifically chose this location because we were going to have multiple evenings on site and wanted to be able to access Netflix (not available yet at some of the older properties). Upon arrival no internet services were available on the TV. Although assuring us every day that the service would be fixed, we never received the promised follow up calls and never had access to Netflix etc. It was unusual to us that this property does not clean rooms daily even during multiple day stays. We've been in Courtyards around 10-12 times since Covid (including last weekend) and this is the only property that does not clean the room daily, and won't honor a request to change the sheets. Disappointing for this Lifetime Platinum member.
