Lack of care + awareness for guests I was traveling with my 6YO son to be tourists for a day or so and exploring the city together. Multiple meals were tried at the restaurant on the 19th floor. Without going into every detail (which I did share in detail in their after experience survey), their restaurant and in dining staff lacks the awareness and care to treat guests with a high quality experience. Their front desk also failed to do basic things when requested such as a wake up phone call on day of flight.

Great staff Came to town for a college tour at Yale with my 15 yrs old for one night. The pros: - Staff at OMNI were great (reception desk, bell man, housekeeping, Cafe) and their text customer service experience was live. - Clean room. The cons: - The location. We didn't feel safe walking around the neighborhood at night but fine during day light. - Bath drainage stopped was not working. Couldn't take a bath. Things the hotel offers: - Free luggage storage - As a member, complimentary water bottle, free drink at their café, and complimentary Wi-Fi. - Self park underground vehicle parking

Excellent staff, highly recommend! The staff at the Omni New Haven Yale hotel was exceptional and made our stay great! From the moment we arrived and encountered the valet team, to the front desk staff, housekeeping and administrative staff - they were all helpful and happy to be providing assistance. I am a frequent traveler and have never had an entire staff be so in sync customer service wise and be engaging and provide service with a smile. It was our first visit to the area and we were flying blind with location of hotel but were very impressed and thank the staff and do recommend a stay.

Excellent Everything was top notch. Staff was wonderful as well as accommodations Shout out to the bellman that I witnessed tying up my dress bag when I was at the front desk. Dedication and pride in their work ethic is appreciated ! Rooms were spotless and well appointed. Amenities were well stocked. Great stay

Major Breaks in Service We were promised no major breaks in service due to the strike but that was definitely not the case. I paid to upgrade to a suite and paid additional charge for early check in so that my husband and I could relax in the living room and he could watch football before his birthday party in New Haven. We knew there would be noise from the strike but there were large trucks illegally parked just leaning on their horns over and over again. We couldn’t hear the tv, and definitely couldn’t relax or enjoy the space. The noise got so bad that we both took Advil. When we got back from the party late at night and went to go to sleep the mattress sheet was missing. In the morning we intended to get room service and enjoy the suite until check out but we were advised that there was no breakfast available at all. In the lobby they served coffee, teeny tiny croissants, and cookies. So we scrounged for a bagel at a Dunkin’ Donuts nearby since nothing outside of the hotel was open until 11. The hotel is very pretty, the suite itself was nice, but we didn’t get to actually enjoy the suite at all. We left hungover, hungry, annoyed and with headaches from waking up to the drumming outside again. I will say the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. I just think we should have been warned there would be no breakfast available when I called and was told that I should expect no gaps in service. I wouldn’t have paid additional for the suite and I would have brought food with us for breakfast.
